Buntpaw fluffed up his tail and crouched down and narrowed his eyes, "Battle training!" he exclaimed.

"ok." he meowed "lets go."

Burntpaw's eyes shone with excitment, "Yay!" he cheered.
Dancingflame purred as she watched her younger brother and her mate.

he smiled at the young cat.

Burntpaw bounced besides his mentor excited for his training.

when they reatched the training clearing he disappeared. he was in a tree and was ready to jump and land next to burntpaw.

Burntpaw turned to face his mentor and realized he was missing, "Redstripe? Redstripe!" Suddenly fearful, Burntpaw's tail fluffed out.

redastripe jumped. he landed right next to him.

Burntpaw closed his eyes, his heart skipping two beats, and lashed out blindly. Each time he missed.

redstripe pinned bruntpaw gently to the ground.

Burntpaw opened his eyes to notice it was just Redstripe, his fur flattened and his eyes narrowed as the little apprentice tried to push off his mentor with his hind legs, claws sheathed.

redstripe stared at his apprentice.

Burntpaw gasped for breath as he tried to throw his mentor off.

redstripe got off burntpaw.

Sparrowstar saw Bruntpaw and Redstripe "you guys are doing very well!" She mewed "but here is a tip Bruntpaw when somepme is in the air ready to pounce they are only at a certain speed then if you are faster and move away quicker then they cant pin you down!"

Burntpaw gazed at his leader, "Ok!" he beamed, "Thanks Sparrowstar!" the little apprentice narrowed his eyes, "Ok! I'm ready this time!"

redstripe looked at his apprentice. he ran into the forest behind him. when he was a good distance away he moved to his left and want forward. when burntpaw came in sight he ran to him.

Burntpaw saw his mentor out of the corner of his eye and jumped high into the air, twisiting and landed squarly on his mentor's shoulers.

Sparrowstar smiled "very good!"
