    Flamestar's warriors walked around camp, watching for Riverclan warriors. They had threatened to invade us for not giving them territory. Flamestar kept his eye on the nursery, where his mate had recently had kits. One of his warriors, Blazeclaw yelled out. "I've scented Riverclan warriors!" And Riverclan flooded into Speedclan's camp. Flamestar immediately shouldered his way to the nursery hearing his mate's blood-curdling scream. He gazed at a Riverclan warrior, crouched over his mates dead body. His mate's brown pelt was drenched with blood, and her legs that had looked like she'd fallen knee deep in snow, was flecked with red. He launched himself at the warrior, ripping and ripping with his claws, until the warrior begged for mercy. "You killed my mate, now i take your life." He whispered menacingly. He slashed the warriors belly, and watched him bleed to death. Flamestar padded towards Lakestar, his teeth showing, red with blood. His pelt was bloody, and blood was dripping from his mouth. He snarled at Lakestar, And launched onto her. "If you hadn't launched this attack, my mate wou;d still be alive!" He screamed. He ripped at Lakestar until she was begging for mercy like the last cat he'd killed. She wriggled out of his grip, and yelled, "Riverclan!" "Retreat!" And ran back to her territory. "Clanmates, we won!" He yowled leaping onto high-rock.

    Flamestar looked at his deputy Hawkripper and thought about the dead warriors body in the nursery. "Hawkripper!" He meowed and jumped off highrock to talk with his deputy. "I would like you to send a patrol to Riverclans territory and dump all dead Riverclan warriors where a patrol can see them." He hissed. Before padding back onto Highrock. He watched his medecine cat, Songbird, zip through the crowd, healing all of the warriors. Flamestar meowed to all of his warriors, "Clanmates!" "Tonight we celebrate!" And added to Hawkripper, "Send out hunting patrols to catch fresh-kill for a feast please."

    "Thank you." He purred, and went to retrieve his mates dead body. He carried it out into the open, and lay down next to it, while his dead mate, Softpelt, her sister raced over and howled loudly. "Nooo!" She wailed and Flamestar heard mewling from the nursery. He padded in to see another cat cowering in the corner. He growled and grabbed the cat by its scruff. He dragged it outside, and chucked it on the ground. "Who's that Flamestar?" His best hunter, voletooth, hissed padding up next to him. "I-I'm Lakestars apprentice!" She whispered, shoving her body down as low as it could go. "I'm Duckpaw!" The she-cat meowed, and hissed at him. "The riverclan warrior in your nursery is my father!!!" "WHY DID YOU KILL HIM?!" she shrieked. Flamestar unsheathed his claws to reveal bloodstained claws. "Because he killed my mate, and one of our three newborn kits." He hissed. "Now get out of here before i rip you to shreds!" He spat, and Duckpaw raced away.

    "Good job Hawkripper." He meowed. "You will make a fine leader of Speedclan some day." He purred, and fetched two mice. He tossed one to Hawkripper. "Keep your strength up." Was all Flamestar said. "Now my kits will be taken care of by our only other nursing queen, Leafpelt, beacuse her kits were just made apprentices." He murmured to himself.

    His two surviving kits, Nightkit, tom, and Sweetkit, she-cat, rushed out of the nursery. They leapt on Flamestar, and soon tired off playing with their father. They curled up beside him, and fell asleep.

    Flamestar looked at Hawkripper, then at his mates body, that lay in the middle of the clearing. "I cant do this!" He yowled, and put his kits back in the nursery, and ran out into the forest, while a thunderstorm was happening. His fur quickly became sodden, and he blinked tears out of his eyes, still running. He stopped in a clearing, where he sat in the rain, and cryed. "Im so sorry Softpelt!!!" He wailed. "Im so sorry!" He yowled to the stars. He wailed in grief, before something big hit him in the side, and he blacked out.

    Blooddead dashed out of the warriors den. "WHERE IS HE?" she screamed. she could not find her mate, Berdockleaf. "WHERE IS BERDOCKLEAF???" she screamed, flying like wind out off camp. the rain soaked her fur. she did not care. "BERDOCKLEAF!!!!" she cried, the tears mixing with the rain. then, she went staright into some fur. she spun round hissing, but realised it was her leader, flamestar.
    "Sorry, F-Flamestar." she cried, then looked up to the sky. she could see into the futer and look back at the past. she was seeing Burdockleaf, blood spraying everywhere. the past faded away, and she looked at Flamestar. she burst out with new tears.

    Flamestar could not hear Blooddead. He was unconscious, dreaming that he was talking to his dead mate in star clan. "Welcome, Flamestar." His mate, Softpelt purred.
