Beetle Hunting! (For Kits Who want to hunt!)

    Basilkit padded over to the border of Snowclan not waiting for any other of the kits. She was too excited! "Beetle Hunting! Beetle Hunting!" Basilkit Meowed. Basilkit couldn't wait to hunt! She never hunted any thing before and it was a good experience of when she would be apprentice! Then, out of no where, she spotted a beetle.

    "Did I hear beetle hunting?" The kit squealed with excitement. She pricked her ears for the sounds of any beetles. A small red one crawled on the ground. But she didn't chase it until she talked to the other kit.

    "Yes! I'm going Beetle Hunting just on Snowclan border!" Basilkit Looked back to see the kit one moon younger than her. "Do you want to come?" Basilkit asked ignoring the beetle she saw earlier.

    “That's like asking a bird if it wants a bug!” She squealed, “Ya, I wanna come!”
    The little kit was bristling with excitement. She drew out the tiny prick-like claws on the tips of her toes and dug them into the soft mush. Rainbowkit was build for hunting, and hunting was more of a priority then fighting.

    Basilkit felt the shiver of excitement "Yay! Lets go!" Basilkit wandered along the Snowclan border until she found a brown-ish Beetle. "Look Rainbowkit! A Beetle!" Basilkit whispered. She realized the beetle was a lot slower than her and she didn't have to whisper. With a swipe of her paw she killed the beetle with her claws. "This is probably not going to feed the whole clan, but it's a good snack!" Basilkit Meowed. She was looking forward to catching more beetles!

    Her eyes glimmered with excitement. Beetles where a great snack, and she'd do anything to help her clan.
    "There's one!" she meowed loudly. The kit waddled clumsily up to the tree root. A small green beetle was resting on it. She snapped her jaws down on it and gulped it down.
    "It got away," she lied with a smile.


    Thunderkit growled, her claws came out of her sheaths. She quickly pounced on Lotuskit, a quality that she would need to hunt beetles.

    "Woah there."Basilkit meowed clamly "We're all in the same clan. There is no need to fight." Basilkit continued her hunt. "Oh and you can come too!" Basilkit was so focused on beetle hunting she almost forgot the cats were still there. Suddenly a blue beetle came. Basilkit pounced on the bug but it was so fast it got away. "I think that was a dragonfly!" Basilkit Thought.

    Thunderkit quickly saw a ladybug and pounced on it just as quick.

    Lotuskit winced as she was trying to sort out what made Thunderkit attack her. Then, she saw a beetle and pounced at it.

    Thunderkit sniffed. She could smell a strong smell, but at the same time it was delicious. Then she recognized it.
    " Mouse!" she exclaimed. She found it, pounced on it, and bit its neck.
    " It's [i]delicious!!![i]"

    As IceKit was exploring the wide world, then she heard kits yelling playfully, wounding what was going on, she bounded towards the noise, getting closer, she heard scattering of...beetles! *that's what they must be doing, beetle hunting! wow, iv never done beetle hunting, im sure mother wont mind if i join in too!* she thought to her self. So she scampered towards the sound, as it got louder and louder the other kits came into view but just at that moment, a nice, juicy, red beetle scuttered in front of her....POUNCE! she snatched up the beetle within seconds, however, landed in a pile of leafs.

    After killing a blue beetle, the kitten looked up at Icekit. "Hi! I'm Rainbowkit." She said in a friendly voice, "Who are you?"


    Thunderkit saw a fish, and although she isn't RiverClan, managed to catch it. "anyone want mouse or fish?" she asked.

    Lotuskit peered up at Icekit. "It's ok!" she meowed. "By the way, I'm Lotuskit!" Hey eyes had a hint of happiness in it!
