Wolfpaw looked over as she dove at an invisible enemy's legs and nodded when she landed, then winced as she skidded on her elbows and knees. She jumped up, arching her back and fluffing out her fur to make herself look bigger to her invisible opponent and lunged at it, pretending to be swiped at when she ducked and bit the air, pretending it was a leg and tossed her enemy to the ground, pinning it with both paws on it's chest.

he looked at the arentice.

Wolfpaw sidestepped then looked up at Tanpelt, who she sensed was looking at her. She grew hot under her pelt when she saw he was staring at her like she was a wierdo. Soon, the dark marble apprentice shook off the feeling and started to fight her invisible opponent again.

She smiled "keep practicing! Sooner or later you might face a real opponent!"

he smiled. "maybe." he looked at dragonstar.

Wolfpaw smiled and out on a determined face when she jumped up to a high rock and jumped back down, locked on her target, a butterfly now, and landed on it accidentally. "Oh no!" she mewed as she lifted her white paw and saw the crumpled and squished blue butterfly.

he stared at her. "its ok." he meowed.

She bowed her head, hoping that wherever the butterfly died and went to would guide its path, and then started practicing her moves again.

tanpelt yawned .

The she cat apperentice finally got tired from practicing and sat down with a rabbit at her paws. Wolfpaw bent down and ate the rabbit without lifting her head up until she was full, with still half her rabbit still there.

Dragonstar yawned and went into her den

She tried to eat the rest and was successful, then pulled a bone out of the carcass and padded away and into the apprentice den. Wolfpaw settled down in her nest in the back of the den and glanced around. It was so lonely in here, there weren't that many apprentices, so she had no denmates.

palekit walked around.

Lighteningkit bounced past Palekit and pounced on a leaf. He picked it up in his mouth and then walked over to a leaf pile that he made, which was a kit fresh kill pile. He smiled proudly at how big his 'fresh kill' pile was.
Dashfur licked her paw and then ran it over her ear. Today she might be appointed a mentor of one of the kits! She glanced over at Tanpelt and quickly looked away, hoping he didn't notice.
