well, its about a girl named beca who wants to be a DJ, but her dad is a college professor so she goes to college. her dad tells her if she joins a college club he'll pay for her to be a DJ after the year is over. she, being a kind of, more "hard core" girl, but not totally punk, finds her self somehow in the a capella group the barden bellas.
