Simplicity continued her song, mesmerised by the moon. Yet, the more she sang to it, the further it moved away from her. It moved slowly, she knew, but still she wished her vocals would hold it near to her. She willed dawn away, desperate not to let the moon leave her. With that thought a cold wind breathed through her fur, and the shiver that followed was not directly caused by it. She paused long enough from her song to allow worldly sensation to once more flow through her. She had to admit it, though she did not want to. She was lonely.

She had spent most of her life alone, though she was young, she was brave and she was determined. When she was separated from her kin she was weak, but she had survived. She could hunt, she could live. She avoided confrontation with other wolves, and was awkward when confronted with another of her kind. She had been alone so long that she now struggled to communicate with others like her. She figured those in packs would not have such issue and would likely feel most comfortable in one another's companionship. She yearned for that, despite being unable to admit to even herself.

She shook her head restlessly to dismiss the thoughts, and began her song anew. It had less strength in it as previously, but it still had the same nostalgic affect on her, and she allowed it to feel the void within her. She tried to use it to link herself to the moon, to feel the same friendship she was aware would only come by relating with another of her kind. The moon couldn't sing back to her, nor even acknowledge her presence in any form. She wondered if it even knew she was there, calling to it, praising it. Even if it did not, it had always been a custom to sing to the moon, the most natural thing in the world.

A breeze carried with it the scent of a wolf. Her song abruptly ended and she leapt to her paws, spinning around. She fluffed up her deep red-brown fur, and a growl reverberated from within her ribcage. She couldn't see the wolf, though the big moon splashed silver light across the rocks. Somewhere it lurked, though she couldn't pin-point it. Her ears flickered, trying to hear everything, and she took another sharp sniff. The wind was too strong and the scent evaded her, but she knew the wolf was there. Fear stroked her pelt, caressing her and making her growl louder. She willed the other to show themselves, and her eyes strained trying to search them out

[font=georgia][size=10]Hi, Morningsong! Welcome! (Still working on that response, by the way... it's slow going!)

Howdy, Caedis. We've been toying with the idea of a group RP, yes, but it's starting out quite slowly. Right now, it's just a 1-on-1 with Luvyna and me, and I'm still not sure what would be the best way for other characters to be introduced... perhaps time-lapses?

I was also speculating on creating another group RP, a more accessible one (perhaps an existing Clan). It would be less epic, but it would be a way for us to get our creative juices flowing, and for us to get to know each other before the big thread really picks up the pace. What do y'all think?
