Yvetzal padded up to the burning tree, narrowing his eyes against the smoke. He could see the faint silhouette of a cat. He smiled, thinking about the things he would do with her, if he saved her. Gritting his teeth, he leaped into the fire, and grabbed Frostbite's scruff. Yvetzal threw her onto the ground, and jumped off the tree. Some of his beautiful fur had burned off, but it would be worth it.
She hacked a cough that shook her whole body.She weakly got up.
Yvetzal smiled gently at her, not daring to make it into a wicked and greedy smile. He tried to help the she-cat up. "What's your name?" he asked, blinking.
Frostbite."The fragile shecat said.
