A Tragic Family Issue

    Ok first off my parents are divorced so my dilema makes sense. My step mom`s dad babysits for my brother, who is one and a half years old, and I just so happen to be there at the same time. My step mom`s dad turned out to be a creepy old dude who did bad things I don`t like to talk about, but that is not the problem. The problem is my dad standing up for him and saying that her family is just a touchy family, but I know that is not true. I watch him hug his side of the family and he only hugs me like that when no one else is around. Another thing is he doesn`t take care of me the way he should and also doesn`t put me and my brother first because my step mom`s dad is STILL WATCHING MY BROTHER!!!!!!!!! My dad lets him go because he doesn`t want my step mom to get mad. I mean who cares this is YOUR CHILD!!!!! I worry about my brother and he is the only reason I still live half and half with my mom and dad. I think I want to live with my mom. Should I?

    ...I'd definitely get away immediately from ANYONE who touches you in an inappropriate manner! NOBODY has the right to do that to you, I mean NO ONE. And yes, it does long term damage. By inappropriate? I mean anything that makes YOU feel uncomfortable and violated. It is NOT normal, it is not acceptable, it is vile and needs to stop immediately.


    As we do not have the facilities on this site to handle molestation, if you are living with or visiting with someone who touches you in ANY way that you do not feel comfortable with, or you have reason to believe he's harming anyone else in this way, I strongly suggest you contact a teen hotline, school counsellor or hell, a police officer or any adult you can trust.


    Best of luck! I hope things work out for the best for you and your family. I only wish I had the self control to retain my fury whenever I hear of anyone being taken advantage of by someone trusted with their care.

    IC~ I agree with Wynn. This is very serious and needs to be handled properly. If it is very, very bad your best bet is reporting to the police.
