uber advanced, anyone?

    I'm in the mood to write and I have pretty high muse, so anyone want to do an uber advanced rp? There are two particular characters of mine I have a lot of muse for. You can find some info about them in the two spoilers. I'm fine roleplaying with either of them, so it's your choice.

    Anyway, I think a thread with Serenity/Ivy/Lorena would be the most interesting (no offense to Auri!). I have some experience with Uber-Advanced, though I have not officially completed one. However, I've written probably a couple of dozen uber-length posts here and there.


    My highest-muse character at the moment is a young loner (currently about to turn 12) by the name of Prolo. He's snarky, sarcastic, fun-loving, annoying, conversant, belligerent, jocular, adventurous, and generally the type who will be either your best friend or a hated pest, depending on how the relationship starts off. If we did a plot with Prolo, I'm guessing that he would stick with her out of mere curiosity and a desire for companionship. Not a very strong link, I know, so this might not work very well.


    I've also got a ThunderClanner named Shimmershadow. He is very, very, very complicated. He was my first attempt at creating a super-complex character, and it has certainly been interesting. No plot ideas spring to mind, however. Feel free to look over his bio and let me know if you can think of any plots.


    After that, I've got a lot of loner characters that come and go as my muse pleases. Any one of them could be adapted without too much difficulty to fit an uber plot.


    Speaking of plots, I've got a few in mind. These are not original, but then again, what is? Any of these may be combined and seasoned to taste.


    -- The classic abandoned-kittypet story. It would be an older cat, a tom perhaps, experienced in life and relationships but not in outdoor survival.


    -- A dashing young tom (or she-cat, if she's not straight) meets Serenity (or possibly Ivy) and falls for her. The personality changes could make this either super-dramatic or super-comedic, depending on how we play it. Maybe both!


    -- She adopts a kit. This one is really hit-or-miss; since you know more about your character than I do, I'll leave it up to you whether you want to try this.


    -- A character is being bullied/beaten/killed, and Ivy steps in to prevent it. The character is grateful, but Ivy recedes and leaves Serenity or Lorena in front. Confusion ensues.

    Prolo sounds interesting, although I really like Shimmershadow. I can imagine how Serenity, Ivy, and Lorena would each react to him. The only problem is coming up with a good plot. Maybe Shimmershadow is out on a mission and he runs into Ivy? If they were to meet, it would have to be either Serenity or Ivy that he meets first.


    As for the plots, the two I really like is the love story and the plot where the character is being bullied. I could see a tom falling for Serenity. I'm interested as to her lover would react when she switches to Ivy, who isn't interested in romance, or Lorena, who's too shy to hold a conversation with.

    [font=georgia][size=10]Shimmershadow isn't really interested in romance either, and he would definitely be more interested in Ivy than Serenity. He wouldn't really fit well into a romance thread (as he is a social disaster) or a bullying thread (because he can more than take care of himself, physically). We'd need to think of something different.


    Prolo wouldn't really work too well either for a romance. His scars run a little too deep for him to be able to handle any sort of long-term relationship, assuming he could even find the maturity to pursue a romance to begin with. However, there are plenty of cats around the Clans and loner lands that would love to beat the stuffing out of him. :P So perhaps we could do that.


    However, if we wanted to do either the bullying or the romance, it would be ideal if we went with one of my lesser-played characters, I think. Gingko would do a romance quite nicely (if he can ever get over that stupid angst, he's actually a decent fellow), and I think that Misi, who's about nine moons old now, could fit quite well into the other plot. Since she's a she-cat, perhaps it could be attempted r­ape.


    But if you want to try to work something out with Shimmershadow, that's fine too.

    [font=georgia][size=10]Sure, we can do Gingko! It'll be my first time attempting uber-length with a minor character. See, I've given him plenty of angst and regret about his past... but I've never actually said what that past is. (Because I've never actually thought about it.) So once I've got a good back-story, it shouldn't be too hard to churn out 1000-word posts for him.


    Since most of my minor characters are, well, minor, they don't really have personalities as much as personality keywords. Gingko's keywords are basically "decent, lighthearted, very dark past." If it weren't for that last item, he would basically be a friendlier Prolo. As it is, he's a very shady sort, who doesn't often approach others. But the friendships that he does form are powerful beyond belief.


    So we can see how it goes, sure! Who should start the thread?
