Gentlepaw Battle training!

    Gentlepaw bounded beside her mentor, 'my first apprentice assignment!"She thought happily, "Honeycomb?"she asked timidly...

    Honeycomb was pretty exicted herself. "Yes Gentlepaw." Her tail lashed playfully but she knew they can't play that they have to train... battle train! The sand was almost completely covered by the leaves,for it was leaf fall now. " What do you want to start with first?" she asked her apprentice" Battle moves, or defensive move?" She questioned again scooping up a pile of crisp dry leaves into the air. playfully hissing.

    "Do you think I'll be good at fighting? I'm so small, it would be easy for someone to pin me or through me around!" She said sounding a little upset ans worried. "oh, and whitchever you think would be best, for me to learn. I know you will make a better chose then me, since i just got out of the nursery and you are a full warrior." She said quitly. She didn't no honeycomb yet and was a bit nurves about starting her training.

    Honeycomb thought "Well, you will be good at battles too because if a warrior would happen to pin you down you could wriggle out. so being small isn't bad, it is alos your advantage!" Honeycomb carefully swatted her ear. "Let's start with battle training!" she meowed

    Honeycomb thought " for starts lets do the basics!" Honeycomb acted like there was a rival in front of her. She acted like she was going to spring on the "cat" but instead she changed directions and went for the feet. Honeycomb slid on her belly for a short instant before jumping up and biting the air. "That is how you trip your opponent, sweeping their feet out from under them "Now you try it on me, and then i'll show you some defence moves!" Honeycomb prepared herself.

    Gentlepaw nodded and sprung at her mentor. She managed to slid and get her paw under Honeycomb's feet and trip her. "Was that right?"She asked hoping she did it they way Honeycomb wanted her to.

    " That was great, but try a little harder and spring off hard!" Honeycomb was pleased with her, she was doing well her first training. "Try it again!" Honeycomb meowed cheerfully.

    Gentlepaw nodded and repeated the menover. She stumbled a bit at the end but held her footing, "Was that good?"She asked hopefuly.
