Thomas and Ariadne followed Ember and Max to their shelter, Hunter tagging close behind.

It was a large two story house. Ember set the deer down in side the door and walked back out side picking up a jug of water

Ariadne gazed intently at the beautiful house they were currently in. "Is this your house Dr. Ember?" She asked.

"please just Ember"she said dumping the water on the pourch and side walk walking backwards to the house

"Sorry" Ariadne replied, rubbing the back of her head.

"Its ok"she said and closed the door and pulled a metal reinforcement over it

Rena watched what she was doing. "That's pretty clever with the water. Let me guess, it's to hide our sent?" she asked.

"yes"ember nodded and contenued to pull metal sheets over doors and windows

As the house closed off, Rena felt a little twitchy. She was a little claustrophobic in the house after sleeping outside for so long. She felt trapped in here, wondering just how safe the house was.

Ariadne wandered cautiously around the house, exploring each and every creak and crevice. It had been a while since she had actually spent time in a house and wanted to treasure each and every moment jus in case an unfortunate event would lead them away from this shelter.
Thomas looked around the house and asked Ember. "So, was this your home to begin with?"

"yes"she said "You have free range of the house. You can go any where but the basement its off limits to you guys"she said meaning in her voice

"Okay" Thomas nodded.

Instantly, Rena was curious when told not to go in the basement. She'd probably end up trying to get down there, at least once, but for now, she would try and keep her curiosity at bay. She walked around the house, taking note of exits as she went along, just in case.

Ember gave a nod and walked toward a door"foods in the fridge if you get hungry"she said walking to the door and walking in shuting it behind her it was obviously the basement door

After exploring the house, Rena looked in the fridge for something to eat. She chose something, then, after a quick thought, grabbed something else too. Clean, edible food was hard to come by, and she decided to take advantage of the food offered to her. Sitting in one room, she ate quietly, enjoying the food. After she finished, she pulled her knife out of her sheath and studied it for a minute. Standing, she went to the basement door and knocked, hoping whatever Ember was doing wouldn't prevent her from hearing the knock...

"One moment'ember said. after a moment she appeared in the door way opening the door a pair of gloves in one hand "Yes?"

"Sorry to bother you, but you wouldn't have another crossbow by chance? Or anything better than a knife? I'm pretty good with it, but I'd rather not get close enough to the infected to use it, and once if I throw it, it'll take down one target, and then I'm weaponless," Rena explained.

Ember gave a nod and stepped out of the door way shutting the door behind her "follow me"she said

"Ariadne!" Thomas called to his sister. The shy girl bounced down the staircase of the house as Thomas's call had echoded through her ear. Walking briskly towards him she gave a shy reply. "Yes?"
"I'm going to get something from the fridge to eat. You should too, I want your strength up just in case something comes up" Thomas orderd. After a hasty nod Ariadne dashed towards the kitchen, pulled the fridge door open and pulled out an apple.
