    I'm just a ghost of a cat now, but I remember what I used to look like back before it all happened. I had glimmering blue eyes, their color reminiscent of a cloudless morning sky. My silky, sleek fur was black, but it wasn't like the cold, endless black of the night sky; it was a warm shade of ebony. The little white patch on my forehead looked like a star, even though it was actually just a blob. I was actually beautiful back then.
