Jayfeather smiled at Hollykit, he felt sorrow at the bottom of his heart every time he looked at her.
Briarlight had been out all night, but no one had noticed. She rounded the ridge toward the moonpool, her front paws aching. Briarlight dipped her head onto the water.
Dustpelt walked into the nursery."Can we talk now?"he asked. He settled himself next to Fernkit.

Briarlight awoke in a dream. Longtail was standing next to her."Why did you want to talk Briarlight?"he asked. She sighed."Jayfeather doesn't love me, I want to have kits, not just with him but at all."she said. Longtail rested his head on her's."Briarlight, there are many cats who love you, if you just look for them. When you go back to the clan someone will be there to greet you, and you will know."

Jayfeather was cast into a vision. He saw Squirrelflight standing over her five kits. One of them had white fur that shone like moonlight, but a shadow was over one half of her pelt, like a half moon. (hint hint)
Dustpelt waited for Sandstorm to reply.
Briarlight woke up from her dream and began the long drag home.

Jayfeather came back into the real world. Half Moon?
