    Wolfsmoke pricked her ears up when she heard Spottedbutterfly say she had some experience with herbs. We might not be doomed after all, she thought.

    Faithfulheart stuck her head out of the warriors' den. "What?" she gasped. "Chimeraflame's gone?" Her amber eyes were wide open with shock as she swiftly raced across the clearing towards Forestvoice and Snowpaw.

    Spottedbutterfly's heart pounded as she waited for any approval from a clan member.She looked around, her mind racing. What if they think I'm not good enough to take over for Chimeraflame temporally?The clan might be doomed if that happens!

    Rosepelt got up out of the nursery and padded over to Chimeraflame's den. "Chimeraflame, my headache is killing me aga-" There was another cat in Chimeraflame's place! "Who are you," Rosepelt growled.

    "C-Chimeraflame isn't here right now.If I get approval from Yellowstar, I'll be doing Chimeraflame's job till he gets back."Spottedbutterfly looked at Rosepelt nervously.

    "Oh." Rosepelt calmed down. She had thought this cat had killed Chimeraflame. "I'm sure you'll do a good job... Wait, did you say Chimeraflame is gone?"

    "Y-yes, no one can seem to find him.I'm a little worried.And with me so nervous, I'm bound to mess up."Spottedbutterfly replied.

    "Don't worry, I'm sure you will do very well." Rosepelt asked the she cat, "Do you know anything about headaches? Please hurry, because I have to get back to my kits."

    Hillsong looked at Spottedbutterfly. "Well, until Yellowstar finds a suitable replacement, any and all cats with herb knowledge will have to help." Hillsong didn't know why he was taking charge, he was a recent warrior. How different this is, he thought, from 'RevengeClan'! Instead of killing medicine cats, I'm helping them!

    Raìnbowpaw was limping because she was fighting a cat and lost. She entered the camp while whimpering in pain.

    "Rainbowpaw!" Rosepelt exclaimed. She glanced at her paw. "I know what you need for the swelling." She recalled when her own paw had been swollen. "Um... Nettles!"

    Rainbowpaw was shaking in fear. She didn't want to go hunting ever again because the loner cat that attacked her might kill her. "Rosepelt i . . I was A attacked by a loner cat. . .it was him" she looked freaked out.

    Forestvoice nodded, "I know a bit of herbs, more from my birds then anything, but Chimeraflame and I were discussing how to handle injured other animals, and taught me a few things." He mewed. "I don't know much though, only basic, maybe all those who know herbs could form a group of sorts, until Yellowstar finds out?" He suggested flicking his tail back and forth. "Together we might be able to do something."


    "Wait, doesn't Chimeraflame have an apprentice?"

    Hillsong shook his head. ”Not that I know of, Forestvioce.” The cream tabby paced agitatedly in a circle. ”How could he do this? Right in the middle of leafbare too! It’s… it’s not like him.” Yellowstar would know what to do. ”Yellowstar. Where’s Yellowstar?”
