Why has TanzaniteClan come to visit? Their home flooded!

Fawkspots has returned! Where was she?

A TanzaniteClan kit was rescued from kit stealers! Then returned after the wolfs attacked. Wolfs attacked and destroyed all of the above ground camp, Sparrowstar is dead.

The dam has collapsed and Quarilquilt died.

First, work on the dam will go slightly wrong and three cats will die from that. Please volunteer a cat.

Then a Seeker goes missing! (Rper is on vacation!)

And shortly after we are stalked by then attacked by wolfs. They will tear the camp, making it very unstable and leading to many repairs. Please make some cats that can die in the attack.

A cat named Marmalade and her kin were the first to start AmethystClan.

History

Her name was Marmalade, and she had a dream. She wanted more then this life, hunting, fighting for her life, sleeping. She was a loner, but not for long. She traveled far until she found the Clans. She joined SunClan who welcomed her and accepted her as a warrior. Marmalade loved her life, and never wanted more. She would have been happy forever, but then she met Scorchblaze. Tall, strong and handsome, the ShadowClan deputy stole her heart form the first moment she saw him. They stole out at night to be together, but SunClan found out and disapproved. They banished Marmalade and chased her from the territory. ShadowClan would not let her join them, and Scorchblaze was demoted from deputyship. Soon, Marmalade found ThunderClan who welcomed her until SunClan and ShadowClan untied to drive her away.
Sending her on her way, ThunderClan let her rest and eat before she set out. Marmalade vowed never to return to the Clans, but to build her own. Easier said then done. None of the loners she talked to were interested, instead they fought her for trespassing. But one day her luck turned. She found a young she-cat named Jay who told her about a tom that was searching the forest looking for a she-cat like Marmalade. With new hope and a new friend, they went looking for this tom who yes, turned out to be Scorchblaze. He left ShadowClan to look for his mate. The three of them, Jay liked the idea of a Clan, stuck together and made a camp. Gradually, the gathered a few more cats. Then Marmalade had her kit. They also liked the idea of a Clan, and after their mother and father were killed by wolfs, the three young cats took the group of cats to find a better home. And so they did. Partly under ground, the old Twoleg ruins provided the shelter and safety the cats needed. As more cat joined, they realized they needed a leader. The littermates argued about who was best for the job. They fought, and one nearly died before they realized what they were doing was wrong. They became leaders, all three, and led their new Clan to great victories.

Here is some information about their territory, hunting and fighting techniques and prey.

Territory

AmethystClan cats are cats of the dark, not as dark as ShadowClan, but they love hiding in the shadows and hunting at night. They have developed techniques for sneaking into bird nests when they birds are sleeping. If they are lucky, they can capture eggs. They eat rabbits, squirrels, birds and mice. Occasionally frogs end up on the pile too.

Most AmethystClan cats are great climbers. With long sharp claws and powerful hind legs, they leapt through the trees chasing their prey. They are also great at fighting in trees. They leap down onto others cats (squirrel jump), swing from branches (opossum swing), or push off the trunk of the tree, crashing into the enemy's (Bilndpaw crash).
AmethystClan cats also have great eye sight under ground, enabling them to fight well in the tunnels that's run under the territory. One of their favorite techniques is to send out a small patrol, outnumbered by the intruding cats, that pretends to be defeated and run into a tunnel that opens into a cave hiding strong warriors to ambush the enemy's (dark cave ambush).

The cats of AmethystClan live in old Twoleg ruins. The dens are mostly hidden underground, but the main part of the camp is surrounded by strong, but crumbling, walls covered in ivy and black berries. The cracks in the walls let cats slip in and out of the camp.

The leaders and deputy sleep inside an old Twoleg house that sits above ground near the entrance. It is a nice roomy den that an old tree has fallen into. A quick run up the tree leader to the upper floor where the stairs have all been distorted. The leaders sleep up here, each taking a corner and enforcing it with brambles to make better dens. The deputy sleeps in what was once the "living room." S/he sleeping in the old blocked up chimney on a short ledge a quick scramble upward.

The rest of the Clan (except the Healers and Seekers) follows a tunnel that leader to more dens, now buried under ground. The warriors have the first den down the tunnel, a large Twoleg nest with three level for the cats to sleep in. It's scary to see the warriors streaming out when there is a battle!

Apprentices come next, in a den much similar to the warriors, but only two levels of the nest. The apprentice den has two way into it, a large entrance to the main tunnel, and a smaller gap only cats younger then 8 moons can squeeze through that enters a dirt tunnel up to the main part of the camp.

The queens and elders are at the end of the tunnel, they share the larges den that is divided in two by brambles and logs brought down by the warriors. Each queen gets her own bramble den to sleep in, and the cats all share the main party of the den. The elders all sleep together on the other side of the den, and the kits often visit for story's.

The Healers, their apprentices and Seekers sleep in yet another Twoleg den near the leader and deputy den. It is large, and there is an opening in the back that leader to a garden where some of the needed herbs grow, such as marigold and catmint.

The rest of the territory is filled with large trees and thick, dense undergrowth that AmethystClan warriors have master navigating. A large river runs through the territory, but as they are not swimmers they always cross by logs they have pushed into the river. They are currently building a dam with holes for the water to flow through so that they may cross the river that way, because logs tend to get pulled away. Up stream is unknown territory, but down stream leads to TanzaniteClan territory.

Their neighbors are called TanzaniteClan. These sometimes friendly cats have aided them in the past, but have almost been the downfall of AmethystClan. If you want to join TanzaniteClan HERE, only half of AmethystClan will be mad. ( ;) JK, join!)

Ceremony's

To Leadership - If the old leader retires, s/he promotes the deputy to leader. If the old leader dies, one of the other leaders gives the ceremony in the old leaders name.

Apprentice to Healer - When an apprentice is given his/her full healer names, his/her mentor will give it to them at the Mooncave. An apprentice may only be promoted if there are less then three healers.

Sparrowstar told you everything you need to know, Swiftleaf! When you get that then accepted, only Swiftleaf can't be healer because one HP per person, and she's a queen and she to have both another healer and an apprentice. If you want her to be healer, she could start out as a healer and when we get a healer apprentice I'll give him/her to you and you can train him and then be a queen.
