  • Stone backed away slightly. "Leave?" He tilted his head.

Rat stretched and awoke. "Nobody is planning on leaving without me, right??"
Stone mumbled. "So he thinks in his sleep"

  • "W-Why don't w-we stay and f-fight?" Twolegs frightened Dance, but leaving frightened her further.

Fire had been listening quietly throughout the conversation. Hearing that Dance's question was probably too quiet for anyone else to hear, he repeated it. "Why don't fight? I'm sure we can do it!" His eyes were blazing with the excitement of battle.

  • "If I thought that we could fight, I'd do it," Moon said, "but End not only foresaw that twolegs would come, but also that some of us would be captured. I'm not going to force any of us to leave, but, as leader, I'm just trying to do what is best for my tribe."

  • Stone shrugged his shoulders. "They can't take us. We'll kick their twoleg butts."
Rat yawned. "Stone, it's probably best we leave... just so nobody gets hurt.

  • "If some of us want to stay, that's their choice," Moon said, "and I'll make regular trips to both the group of us who leave and those who stay. It would be best, however, if we all left."

  • Stone sat down. "Well, someone has to make sure the camp isn't taken over by hungry wolves. I'll stay here to defend the camp, if you don't mind."

  • "Alright," Moon said, "I have faith in your skills as a warrior. I can only pray that Moreta guides your claws and protects you from the twolegs."

  • "I'll be fine."

Stone stretched and lay down. "Yep. Don't you worry. I'll shred anything that gets within a fox-length of our camp.

  • Dance blinked. She didn't want to leave the camp, but she didn't want to look like she didn't believe End or Moon. Watching Fire, she decided to wait and hear his decision.

"I'm going with Moon. Even though I believe we should stay, Moon is our leader. Her word is the law..." Fire chimed in, flicked his tail with agitation at the thought of something chasing them from the camp they had right to.

  • Moon dipped her head towards Flame. "I appreciate your loyalty, but if you feel that you should stay, I give you permission to do so," she said.

  • "That's alright, Moon, but I'm with you," Fire said. His black fur was slicked down but didn't make him seem smaller. If anything, it showed his well-toned muscles with great emphasis, making it look as if he grew.

"I-I think I'll g-go t-too..." Dance thought it would be best if she stayed with the larger group, it seemed safer to her.

  • Moon nodded. "Get some sleep," she said, "Flame, you and I will go scout out a temporary camp in the morning. Then we'll come back and get the others."

  • End padded up to her, sitting down next to her and looking up as well.

  • He blinked at her kindly. "Our fate would had been much worse had we not been warned." he meowed softly.
