    IC~ Lifestar's paw pads ached by the time she got to the Hunting grounds, but she continued on. She then scented a rare treat. Bird. She got in position, watched it for a bit, and leaped into the air. It got frightened, and it flew, but Lifestar had already leaped high enough to catch it. Then when the bird and Lifestar hit the ground, Lifestar bit it's neck and killed it.

    MoonWolf stood at the edge of the river, watching for fish. He spotted one...... He put his paw into position, waiting for it to pass...... He dove his paw in, but as he did so, he heard something behind him. He turned...... Fox! He jerked in surprise, tipping him into the river. MoonWolf splashed franticly, trying to fight his way to the surface, but the water held him down. The surface finaly broke, and he could breath! His eyes were shut tight against the water, and he called out for help.

    IC~ A strange shadowy figure leaped in and saved Moonwolf. But as he was dragged to shore, the shadowy figure disappeared.

    MoonWolf sputtered. What was THAT?! But there was no time. He raced through the hunting grounds, calling out for LifeStar.

    MoonWolf bounded back to camp, leaving a trail of water behind him. "Foxes! Near the river!" He cried out in the middle of camp. He had a puddle of water at his feet, and he gasped, trying to take in more air.

    IC~ Lifestar felt like she was being watched the whole time. But when she turned to see what was across the river, she saw two sets of muddy pawprints. One was defiantly a fox, and the other was a cat! Lifestar was shocked. Then she looked into the forest across from the river, and she saw a pair of glowing orange eyes. And below the eyes, was a white star. But that wasn't a star...that was something else. Then automatically, she knew who the cat was.

    OOC~ Recap: Moonwolf tipped into the river because he saw a fox. But he was saved by a mysterious shadowy figure. As Lifestar went after the fox, she saw a pair of eyes and a white star beneath them, automatically recognizing the mysterious cat. Meanwhile, Moonwolf went back to came alerting everyone, just as Lifestar returned. (Phew!)


    IC~ Amberstorm's usual, mottled fur bristled, her hackles rising, [b]"But Lifestar! The fox! How may we stand here, while there is a giant, vicious predator on the loose? The smell of prey will just attract it!"[/b] She hissed. She met disapproving looks from her Clanmates,; No warrior should disobey or go against the word of his/her Clan leader. She shrunk away, feeling crestfallen, "Sorry Lifestar....." She mumbled, her honey-amber eyes staring at the ground, her silky ears flattened against her head.
