    Ari looked at him and narrowed her eye."Won't let what!?!"she asked angrily. She was done with the lying and that was exactly why she told her brothers to leave. The girl moved her hair so he could see her entire face."who!?"she asked, her voice getting a little harsher

    Phoenix:


    Even with the quickest of glances at Ari's face, Phoenix could see she was fuming. He hated seeing her like this, so angry, especially at him. He made eye contact with her, unable to look away.


    "They...I..." he stuttered. He eventually sighed. He couldn't lie to her, no matter how hard he tried. He spoke speaking quietly, hating every word he said.


    "They gave me a deal; find the flock, lead you all into a trap, and they would let Jael go."

    Ari's eyewidened and she could feel the tears forming in it"Why....." She cut her self off before shoving him away from her. "I thought and hoped that we could go back to what we had" she shook her head." But no, you threw that away. Stay away from the flock and stay away from me" she said. She spread her dark wings before jumping into the air. She waited until she was a few feet away before bursting out crying

    Phoenix:


    Phoenix was dumbfounded for a second. 'Back to what we had?' Now he'd done it...


    "Ari, wait!" Phoenix called out in vain as she took off. Then he shouted, "I-I love you!"

    Ari stopped and she wanted to go flying to him, she hesitated before flapping her wings to send her back his way."I love you too." She whispered."let's go get your sister" she muttered sadly

    Phoenix:


    "Yeah," he replied, "But they'll be ready and waiting for us to turn up. We better be ready for them."


    Slowly, his hand raised and touched Ari's arm. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. It's just that it's like you said before. You should do anything for those you love, and I love Jael. But, I also love you. And when it comes to deciding between a sister and...you...I didn't know what to do."

    Ari looked up at him and nodded." I understand." She said before wiping her eye. "I'm sorry for acting the way I did" she said




    IC; Cyprus sighed and stared at the wall. Is this the right choice? I mean... there has to be some other bird-kids out there.
    He groaned and facepalmed himself. "Don't think about that." He told himself.

    (Phoenix revealed that he almost lead the flock into a trap so that Jael would be set free, Ari got angry but they worked it out, they're both outside the cave. I believe Cyprus is still being attended to in a hospital, and Sophie and Rick would likely be in the cave, eating)


    Phoenix:


    "It's ok. I'm sorry too."


    In that moment, Phoenix realised how lucky he was to simply know Ari. She was smart but funny, leaderly but kind. If she got angry it was for a good reason, and she was forgiving too. Despite their situation, he smiled at her, looking into her emerald eye.
    He leant closer slowly but then pulled away. Know probably wasn't a good time...


    Clearing his throat with a cough, Phoenix gestured to the cave. "So, urm, should we talk to the others? Ya know, make a plan or something?"

    Ari saw him smile and she returned it with a warm smile. The tall girl saw him lean and she was about to to do it too but then shook it off. "Yes, no need to go in there just to get caught ourselves."she said before flying to the other cave where the other's were.

    Sophie ate her fish and watched Ari and Phoenix through narrowed eyes,ready to break up a fight should another one happen. She leaned her back against the cave wall and picked out a small fish bone that had gotten stuck between her teeth.


    Rick looked up at Ari and Phoenix with his fish forgotten.




    IC; The surgeons came in and started to examine his wings. They were wearing normal clothing and were examining with only magnifying glasses and gloves. This relaxed Cyprus a bit. It's become less of the hospital... and the School...

    Phoenix:


    Phoenix followed Ari back to the cave. He looked over towards Sophie and Rick, offering a little smile.


    He hoped that if they had overheard their conversation, they weren't holding a grudge against him. Not that Phoenix would blame them, since it would have been him betraying them.

    Sophie nodded."Hell yeah. And I'm gonna take out a few Whitecoats on the way." She said with a smirk.


    Rick nodded."Lets get Jael!" He said.




    IC; "It's dislocated."
    Cyprus heard one of the surgeons. He nearly facepalmed himself again. What question should he ask first? How could a wing be dislocated? Or maybe why he didn't know that? Or maybe, just maybe, did he have to say it out loud?!

    Phoenix:


    "Ok, well..." he started, using a stick to draw a rough plan of four buildings in the ground, gesturing to it as he spoke, "I believe Jael is being held in this building here. Most of the erasers will be set up in the building to the right, since that's..." Phoenix hesitated before continuing. "That's where they wanted me to lead everyone to the trap. However, they might see us coming and will know something is wrong if I don't lead you there."


    "I reckon that Ari and I should go towards the trap so they don't suspect anything. Meanwhile, Sophie and Rick sneak into the lab and bust Jael out."




    IC; Cyprus sighed and they relocated the wing. He barely even felt it. "Well, your healed! If you want to wait a little longer your welcome to stay…" Cyprus shook his head and folded his wings in again.
