Daisyfur nuzzled her kits closer to her as they slept, as she herself settled down to sleep, the cats returning from patrol woke her, AND her kits, back up. Her kits tumbled off of her, and as they left the nursery , she called after them " Don't get under anyone's paws!", and settled back down to sleep again.
Spottedkit barely heard her mother's call as she bounded out of the den with her littermate; Cinderkit. " Let's play badger invasion! " She mewled excitedly. " I will be Streamstar, and you can be the badger!" " No fair! You were Streamstar last time!!!!" Cinderkit exclaimed. " Well, I thought of the game! So lets play." She retorted.
