    Boulderpaw purred and headed out with his mentor. Nightpaw decided to go out on his own.


    Moonpaw was picking out Catnip. He had found a small bush of the herb and thought it be a good idea to take some back with him. He heard the bushes twitch behind him.....

    Moonpaw was laying on his side panting heavily. The badger had dug it's claws deep into his shoulder and he whimpering in pain. The badger circle around him. He thought to himself "this is it......I'm going to die." He blacks out before he could see what happened.

    Moonpaw was barley breathing, and he thought he could see the fields of starclan as he was carried back to camp.

    Blossompaw raced over to Moonpaw. "MOONPAW!" She shouted loudly. Her eyes clouded up a lot. She couldn't let him die. "What.... what-what" She was too shaky to speak. Tears were flowing down her face.

    Moonkit opened his eye and saw blossompaw. He called out to her.
    "Blossompaw......."

    Frostglare calmly walked out of the medicine den. He set down some herbs he had brought that would help. He expertly scanned the wounds and motioned with his tail for the other cats to leave and give Moonpaw some air. Frostglare chewed up some marigold and applied it to the wounds to prevent infection and to make them heal faster. When it was slathered on the wounds evenly, he covered the wounds with cobwebs to prevent heavy bleeding and to hold the marigold in place. He gave Moonpaw a couple of poppyseeds to chew to numb the pain and help him fall asleep quickly. He hoisted Moonpaw up onto his shoulder and carried him into the medicine den, gently laying him down in his soft nest.

    He panted more heavily, struggling for breath.
    "Blossompaw.....I....love you." He passed out from the poppy seeds. And his breath slowed even more.

    Blossompaw closed her eyes. Tears flowed down her face. "Is-Is he gonna-gonna be okay?" She asked, worried badly. "I... I.. I love you too"

    Frostglare growled slightly in his throat. "Don't tell me you guys were seeing each other secretly!" He mewed loudly. "If you want him to be a warrior, and you convince him to be, then fine. But see how long he lasts in battle! You may go now." He hissed. His words were final and it was apparent that he would burst if she talked back to him and made any sassy remarks.

    Boulderkit ran back into camp feeling happy with his practice. He headed into the medicine cats den and he stared in shock at moonpaw.
    "W-what happened?" He ran over to his brother and began to cry.
    "No...no! Moonpaw wake up, please wake up." He leaned over and let a wale escape him.

    Moonpaws breathing slowed even more and he lay sleeping softly. He whimpered in his sleep.

    Blossompaw bursted in the medicene den, she just had to stay with him. She lied down next to him.

    "Shhh!" Frostglare whispered. "You'll wake him and at this point, he needs his sleep. He was attacked by a badger. And saying as your his brother, I will give you the option of staying with him tonight if you want. Just so long as you stay quiet."


    Flarepaw returned from working her tail off in her garden when she heard Boulderpaw.. Crying?? She raced to the sound source and peeked in the med den. oooh... she thought. So that's what he really thought, eh?
