Friday continued to graze, but she moved a bit closer to Lucifer in the process. She didn't want Ana to spot her.

He huffed and headbutted her shoulder playfully, rearing slightly and galloping off, snorting and flicking his ears. Although Alice gave him a lot of attention, she didn't usually play with him, and at their former stable, he had never been put in a pasture with another horse.
-
Ana started Dime with a breeze, using her arms to extend the filly's stride as they cruised along the rail. She didn't want to work her too hard. Dime had an extremely important race coming up.
-
Fridal grinned and cantered after Lucifer, bucking slightly.
-
Lucifer snorted and rolled around in the grass until he was covered, chuckling at the thought of Alice's reaction when she saw how dirty he was. He stood and trotted over to Friday, nuzzling her and galloping away again.
-
The bay filly squealed in delight and ran after him.
-
When Friday caught up to him, he reared in excitement and trotted a circle around her, nipping her shoulder and cantering off. He rolled around in a patch of wildflowers, looking at her sweetly. Come on, slowpoke.
-
Friday narrowed her eyes playfully and darted at him.
-
Dime prance with excitement as she was led to the track, swishing her tail back and forth. Once Ana mounted up, she cooperated calmly and gave a small rear before being asked to go forward. The large filly strided smoothly along the rail, her large tightly tuned muscles rippling beneath the glossy dapple grey coat she was blessed with.
-
Ana gave her a nudge with her heal and giving her a tap on the shoulder with the fiber whip. She normally never used whips on any of her horses, but occasionally she did. Coin and Dime were two of the few who it was used on.
-
Rose and Wyatt began to lope slowly around the track Rose nickered with a slight buck wanting to go faster but Wyatt wouldn't let her go yet.
-
Lucifer huffed and dashed out of the way just in time. He laughed and pawed at the ground, glancing after her and trotting around the pasture.
-
Friday smiled and loped past him, swishing her black tail.
-
Dime shot forward with a jaw dropping burst of speed. But the filly was just getting warmed up even at the blazing pace she was at. She left small puffs of sand behind her as she dug her heels into the track to propell herself forward, her long agile legs swallowing up the ground with her massive stride.
Lacey cantered out of the barn, glancing back at Alice with a snort.
-
Alice smiled, quickly wiping it off her face. She put her hands on her head and squealed in distress. "Oh, no! Lacey got out of the barn!" She slowly jogged out of the grooming stall. "I'm so sorry! Her halter just fell off!"
Lucifer reared and huffed, chasing after her.
-
Friday pushed forward, looking behind her at Lucifer. She grinned mischievously.
-
Lacey nickered and cantered away from Alice, going along with the plan.
The blonde haired girl frowned. "You better go catch her then!!!" she shouted, not pleased at all.
-
Alice jogged after the mare lazily, pretending that it was the fastest she could go. Once out of the girl's earshot, she started laughing and took a "breather".
Lucifer laughed and kicked it up a notch, speeding ahead of Friday. He reached the pasture fence and, too shocked to turn, he jumped up and soared over the fence. Mid-jump, he panicked, so he landed heavily and ungracefully. Lucifer breathed heavily as he shook himself and collected his thoughts, turning back to Friday with an embarrassed grin.
-
An older lady exited a pasture holding a mare and foal only to see Lacey running around and Alice trying to catch her. "Do you need help dearie?" she asked, setting down the bucket of water she was carrying.
Ana kept Dime's speed under control, urdging her forward to get her to extend her stride, but holding her back so she couldn't go too fast.
-
Alice chuckled and shook her head. "I'll get that 'rascal' eventually."
