History~
This pack, skulk, herd, pride, or whatever you want to call it, formed with the need to defend themselves from the normal humans. It used to be a small group of unorganized shifters that would join together each night to check up on each other. If one of them went missing, they would rescue them. Eventually, they elected a leader: Blue Moon. She led them for a while, and it soon became a huge group.
This all seems great, but one day, they were discovered. A human videotaped their meeting. Blue moon decided to gather up all the shifters and their families. They escaped deep into the forest. They developed ranks and organization. They have been developing for a long time, and this is them now.

Territory~
The shifters have a large territory and in it is a little bit of everything.
Camp: See the circle of grass with caves, a tree, and ringed with water? That's camp. It is located on Moonrise mountain, and if you want to see the moonrise, the tree there is the best place. It is in a dip in the mountain, about nine feet down, with a place that serves as a ramp down into it. If you fall in anywhere else, you could die. Not pleasant. The tree is where the king, queen, and heir sleep. The largest den is for the lieutenants, scouts, warriors, and hunters. They are nearest to the exit. The top left den is for the mothers and children. The top den is for the medics. The smallest den is where the omegas reside. The recruiters and the newest members live in the bottom right. Finally, the assistants, not including the medic assistant, are in the bottom den. The freshkill is placed in a small crack in the widest branch on the tree.
Echo valley of the distant past: This is a grassy valley that sings with echoes that bounce between the two mountains. The rocky walls are completely smooth on either mountain in this area. You can here long-ago conversations if you listen carefully, and the songs of the last singing. This area is abundant in prey, but not berries.
Moonrise mountain: A rocky, rough mountain except on the side of Echo Valley. Bushes and spots of grass dot the steep incline, and herbs are often found here. There are berries, and some birds, and maybe a goat or two.
Sunrise mountain: A mountain that is the exact height of Moonrise mountain, and almost the exact same, but instead of a ditch at the top, there is a steep incline up to a rock. If you look closely, there is a hole in the rock--a cave. There are berries, and some birds, and maybe a goat or two.
Singing cave: A hidden cave with a perfectly round pool, and perfectly round walls. A hole lets moonlight through on the winter solstice, spring equinox, summer solstice, and fall equinox. On these days, they host a singing which makes echoes that ring through the cave forever. The echoes also bounce around in the Echo valley
Pawprint lake: A huge lake shaped like a paw print. It provides fish, berries near the edges, and water.
Training hollow: A circular area that has a ground of dirt. A small maple tree is in the middle. All sorts of prey pass through here.
Log cabin, sandy path, and docks: A friendly human and her children live here. They only go along the sandy path and relax on the beach, so they don't suspect a thing. DO NOT SHIFT NEAR THEM, OR TALK IN HUMAN IF YOU ARE IN SHIFT FORM, OR ASSOCIATE WITH OTHER SPECIES NEAR THEM! They will sometimes let us eat the vegetables they grow if we do them a favor. They sometimes go out on a boat that is docked in the docks.
Cosca Bay: A beautiful bay in the ocean, but with cold, undrinkable water. You have to be careful when fishing in these treacherous waters, but the prize can be big. Water shifters hang out here.
Clashing rocks: Huge rocks that ring with the sound of clashing waves. A cave is down there, and holds the echo of all the cries of the ones who slipped and fell into the water. Don't ever fish or swim here.
City: Nothing is known, and no one is allowed there.
Religion~
These shifters believe that after you die, you turn into an echo spirit, and can help the living. You have to stay on earth, and you are harder to hear as you grow older.
