  • Infinitepaw was hunting near Fourtrees on WindClan territory. The young she-cat loved feeling the wind flow through her gray-and-golden pelt, and she especially loved nights like this; warm with a slight breeze, a bright moon overhead. Yet she never let her guard down, and never smiled. Not after everything she'd been through. Any ordinary cat would just think something bad happened with her family or a friend or something like that. But it was much, much more than that.

  • Infinitepaw was so deep in thought, she didn't realize that she crossed the border. She just slowly trudged onward, staring down at the ground in front of her.

  • Infinitepaw suddenly stopped, coming back to her senses. She sniffed the air, then called out into the warm dewy night air. "I know you're there. Show yourself."

  • Infinitepaw slowly circled around to where the cat would be going. She came to a stop when she saw the flash of a pelt. "Come on; I don't bite!" She called out again.

  • Infinitepaw padded up to him, finally able to see him clearly. "True, I did once, a long time ago. But now all I sink my teeth into is prey. I do not bite whatsoever, other than in hunting."

  • Infinitepaw padded up to Ravenpaw and sniffed his pelt. "What Clan are you from? I am still learning Clan scents."

  • "Well then, tough guy, I hope you learn not to be afraid of a small, harmless WindClan apprentice like me in the future!" Infinitepaw purred.

  • "Really? I thought I smelled fear on you. Oh well, my super sharp scenting skills must be a little rusty." Infinitepaw meowed sarcastically.

  • Infinitepaw sat down and began to groom her unusual gray-and-ginger pelt. She glanced up at Ravenpaw, beckoning for him to sit. "We might as well get to know each other better. I'm Infinitepaw. I've only been an apprentice for a moon, although I may look older."
