  • The coon colored tom padded to the entrance of the leaders den, he needed his old pal. The fact that his father, Frogsplash, had went missing still depressed him and only wanted to talk Rangerstar. He remembers the last time he had seen his father, but he tried to put the thought away. Titanicflare had no parents to run to, and no family in Riverclan.

Sometimes, Titanicflare wondered what it would have been like if he stayed in Shadowclan... If things would have been different with him and his father. Rangerflash sometimes felt like a father to Titanicflare but he liked to think of the leader as a best friend.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Rangerstar was not in his den when Titanicflare arrived at its door. The red tabby was on a hunting patrol and was just returning, his mouth full of fish and one water vole. He dropped the prey off at the fresh-kill pile and began to nose through the pile when his noticed his friend by his den.

"Titanicflare!" he shouted out as he padded toward the young warrior. "Can I help you with something?"

His gaze fell onto his familiar friend once more, the words not reaching the tip of his tongue fast enough. "I- I just want.. I wanted to talk to you about my father.", his voice was calm and quiet.. "I know that you might not care because he isn't- wasn't a part of our clan... But.. I miss frog splash..". His paws shuffles uncomfortably around as he went to say his next sentence... "Tell me Rangerstar, would my life be any different if I were to have stayed shadowclan?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]Rangerstar did not hesitate to nod. "Yes. All our lives would've been different had we been born in a different Clan. I wouldn't have anything I have now if I wasn't born in RiverClan. Now whether that life being different in ShadowClan would be a good different or a bad different is up to you. Are you glad you came to RiverClan?" he asked.

  • The question Rangerstar had asked seemed to strike him like a bowling ball going after bowling pins. "O-of course! I made that decision, and I am glad." he stopped, hoping no one would think of him as a traitor. "I am loyal to Riverclan and I have been since a kit. Even if my blood doesn't have Riverclan running through it, I know I am loyal to this clan." he quietly meowed to his friend.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px]"I know. I was just checking." Rangerstar grinned. "I understand why you miss your father and I wish there was something I could do to help."

  • 'You are helping me. You are there for me, that's what I wanted to know. Thank you." Titanicflare dipped his head. "I must get going now, border patrol in a few. Thank you so much Rangerstar!" he turned around and went to leave the leader den without further words.
