Iona shot an arrow right into the helm, piercing and bending in the metal. She switched her sword out for a huge Ebony Mace and smacked the arm joints and torso. She leapt off and dived beneath a thrashing arm, pulling out her Orcish Dagger and slicing the metal as she ran and leapt over the arms.
-
Asura watched as it fell to one knee, "Time to die!!!" he slammed his hands together and Power exploded from them, "ARGHHH" he fired the lighting bolt and it made full contact Sending the Metal fiant flying back into a wall it slumped and died, He turned around and saw a lot of dwarven Spheres coming toward them, "Get what you need! ill distract them" He said as he kciked one into its companions, "Meet me outside" he ran at them all and shouldered his way through"
-
Iona wrenched off the large decorative Dwemer strut and slung it into her belt before drawing her sword and running up the stone stairs. Too suddenly she reached a pressure plate platform. What was the pattern again? She studied them for a pattern before slowly placing her boot on a square. She looked behind her before trying to make her way across. Iona screamed in pain as her heel clipped a different tile and a Dwemer arrow shot through the back of her knee. She held herself fast before limping across the last two rows. She exhaled with gritted teeth as she made it to the entrance and waited for Asura.
-
Astra took a time before he came out and walked p to her holding smthng shiny, "Are you ok!?" he asked running up to her and looking at her wound, "Le me treat it" he said kneelongnextto her.
-
Iona looked down at her once perfect white fur that was now smudged and soaked in crimson blood. She looked down the arrow and around a third of the shaft was showing.
"The-the arrow might be too deep." -
"Deep breath" He said as he grabbed the shaft in one hand and snapped it without disturbing the wound he studied the arrow for a moment then said, "I have to pull it through then bind it" he told her and sighed, wiping some sweat and dirt from his face, "You may want to sit for this one"
-
Iona whistled for Estifania and the cremello mare trotted over. She pulled her withers forward and motioned to the ground. Estifania snorted before lying down. Iona slid to sit in the saddle and stretched out her wound.
"Just get it over with." -
Asura nodded and pulled it out quickly then cupped his hands around the wound and a familiar yellow light flooded through his fimgerS Int her wound. He sighed, "this should kill tha pain and heal it. " he to,d her and scowled, " sorry I waant there there it for you"
-
She shook her head and exhaled shortly.
"It's okay, it was my own fault. I clipped the wrong pressure plate with my heel."
Iona looked down at the closing cut and softly swayed her leg back and forth.
"Thank you."
She swung herself to sit square in the saddle and held out her hand as Estifania stood up. -
"no I'll run, I need to kill off this extra adrenaline" he told her, "Lead the way" He shook his hands like they had been burned, "God that healing spell hurts" he whined and blew n his hands. He was just glad she was ok though.
-
Iona nodded before setting off at a trot down the path the Markarth. She looked down and shook her head as she felt the warm tears budding in her eyes as Estifania clattered down the cobbled path. She crossed the last bridge and trotted up the hill to Markarth.
-
Assurance was ahead of them, he stopped as the wind blew and sniffed the air, "Tears?" he run back to her and climbed on the horse fr the last of the trip, "Tell me what's wrong" he said into her ear softly as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.
-
Iona took one arm away from the reins and put her hand over his.
"See that's just it, I don't even know."
She looked down and moved her head to the side. -
He nuzzled into the soft fur on the back of her neck, "it's ok" he said reassuringly and kissed her neck softly, "everything will be fine" he told her with a slight smile and pulled her softly against him.
-
Iona looked behind her and kissed him softly.
"I've thought about it..." She started. "...and my answer's yes."
She rested the back of her head on the hollow of his collarbone as Estifania slowed to a walk. -
He broke into a smile and felt his heart pound in his chest, the kiss felt good to him, he held her for a long time then said, "I'll arange the wedding when we get back" he told her putting his cheek against hers, "when we get bakcill give you some coin, to pick out a dress" he said softly and closed his eyes.
-
Soon enough they reached Markarth Stables and she dismounted. She looked up at Asura, a smile nearly splitting her face in half.
-
He climbed off and handed her a purse with 10,000 coin in it, "pick the finest of material, you deserve it." he said and hugged her planting his lips on hers in a soft kiss, "I will see you later my love, I have a few people I must contact" he said and walked away.
-
She hugged the satchel close to her chest and sighed blissfully. She turned on her heel and started walking up the stairs. Iona turned around when she reached the top and looked to the outline of Asura. She bit her lip, smiling before turning back and opening the door. She ran back to her conservatory and got ready for bed. She shook her head and smiled softly as she found herself falling asleep, filled with joy.
