  • "so, you know where we're headed, right cat?" Puck asked, more because he wanted to annoy the fur all than because he truly doubted him. Grimalkin snorted and twitched his tail. "I got you there last time, didn't I human? Stop being an idiot for once in your life." He said and trotted on, refusing to respond to anything else Puck said. So, instead, the Summer Faery dropped back, walking forward again when he was in stride with Glace. "What's wrong with frost-bite?" He asked, nodding at Lore, who was now storming off towards the front of the group. "Did you tell him he could use one of the Iron Faeries as a target practice?" He grinned, but it didn't really go to his eyes. Being this close to home, it bothered him. He felt likehe would see Sotiria or Mia at any moment now and that would prove to be rather.... Awkward to stay the least, especially since he was I good terms with neither at the current moment. In fact, this was the first time he'd been back to the Summer court in three weeks.

Lehara smiled wanly at the other IronFaery. "It's best you just stick with us, we're so far away from the Iron border and if someone saw you, they'd not hesitate to kill you." She said severely and only looked away from Vivian's black eyes when her Glider screeched and nosed her roughly on the shoulder. "What?" She asked the creature who had been her companion for a long time now. In response it flapped its wings uneasily and looked behind them, a silent warning that they needed to move faster or they'd have to face whatever unknown force was chasing them.

  • Vivian raised her eyebrow at that and continued to follow Lehara. She glanced behind her as she thought about leaving and finally decided against it. She smiled as she saw the rather large bug and felt a little bit more at home. "Who's carrot top?" She asked with a curious face. Her black eyes showing no human emotion. Her face blank except for the curious glance at the skin and tall summer fey. What she really wanted to know was why he was more uncomfortable in his home then the rest of them were. His speed was to quick and he seemed rather eager to leave. Then it dawned on her. The other feys words. The end of the world? Were they crazy? She stopped dead in her tracks and just stared. Hoping for someone to sayt they were kidding.

  • Glace turned his head to glance over his shoulder when he heard a far-off rustling in the trees. "I'll check it out." Lore said, drawing one of his daggers. Glace's ice staff appeared at his side.
"I'll back you up. Leah, try not to strangle Puck while I'm gone, okay?" He asked with a smirk. Lore disappeared into the trees and Glace followed him a couple seconds after. He knew he'd never be able to keep up with his friend, but he'd try and stay on his general trail. After several steps, Glace found himself in a tiny clearing with a pond in it. He turned in a circle slowly to scan the area. "Lore!" He hissed, trying to get Lore's attention if he was anywhere nearby. "Lore?"
"What?" Lore snapped from behind a nearby tree. He looked annoyed. More than annoyed. His eyebrows were drawn together and he was wearing an acidic scowl. Glace frowned.
"What's with you, Lore? You've been acting strange lately." Lore was the one who crossed his arms and glared this time.
"I don't know, Glace. Maybe its because I'm on a wild goose chase. Maybe its because I'm on this epic journey that could lead me to my death that, no matter what, will end in my best friend becoming a traitor. Ever thing about that?" Glace swallowed guiltily.
"Lore... you don't understand. I HAVE to do this! I just..." Lore held out a hand, silencing him.
"I don't care. After this, you'll have nothing to worry about. I won't be allowed to care. Now pay attention. We've got company." He turned his back to Glace and faced the trees. Whatever was following them was getting close.

  • Puck as usual, was trying to get a rise out of Lehara when a sound tore him away from his activity, which had been his trying to see if Grim and Leah rubbed together, would static electricity be a result. "What in the-" he started when Grimalkin let out a hiss, disappearing instantaneously. Not good, this was beyond, not good. Lehara frowned at the cat's disappearance, but said nothing, only looking towards Puck, a question in her life-less eyes. Not a question of where the cat went, but of what they were to do if something bad burst through the bushes. And Puck didn't know, so instead he watched as Glace and Lore scrambled over to them, their breathing rapid and Glace's eyes burning with worry, yet determination. "They've caught up with us!" He exclaimed in a hiss to Puck who raised an eyebrow in inquiry. "A lot of things catch up with us, Glace. Trouble, time, karma. Gotta be a little more specific." He grinned crookedly, but it didn't reach his eyes. Glace opened his mouth to reply, his eyes narrowed in annoyance when Lehara held up her hand for silence. "They are here." She said, her voice cold and lethal, reaching to her back slowly where a weapon was strapped to her back. She pulled out a wicked tooling blade which sported two blades, each on one end of a short handle situated in the middle. The twin blades were curved and glinted a dark gray, the gray of a purely iron blade. It pulsates with an electric yellow light, kind of a sick color, if one asked a regular faery. On instinct Puck edged away from her, but also pulled out his own blades. "Well, this outa be interesting

  • Vivian glanced at the other fey and then looked back at the noise. Waiting to see who they were talking about. She had a weapon of her own but she wasn't the best at using it. She was a wife, a widow now but still she had been a wife. She cooked and took care of her husband. She didn't travel and slay creatures. But i guess there was a first for everything. With a few deep breaths she took a hard stance and waited patiently.

  • It was the warmth that scared him most. It started three days ago in the very tips of the fingers of his right hand. It felt strange to be warm, almost as if he had the tips of his fingers in the water. He sat in a low branch while down below, a fire crackled cheerfully. He sat upwind so the heat would reach him. "Hey Muck." He called to his friend who was sitting down below by the fire. He waited until Puck looked up from whatever he was thinking about. "I wanted to thank you for letting me drag you along on this suicidal mission."

  • OOC UGH. My brain is dead. OK guys so we're timeskipping like... deep deep into the story. Let's say that they should arrive at the End of the World within the next two to three days.
