Streamstar glared at him. Rainpelt wasn't supposed to challenge his leader like that. Streamstar sighed and whipped her tail in his face saying dismissal. Streamstar went into her den alone. Her den was cold, and dark. Streamstar layed down in her nest.

Streamstar walked towards leafkit and picked him up, and took him in her den. She layed down with him by her belly. She wasn't going to suckle him, but she was going to care for him herself. She was going to treat this kit as her own son, and then leafkit as a warrior would think the leader of this clan was his mother.
