Rainpelt took at huge bite out of it. He spit some out on the side not facing Brightcoral so he could chew. "Delicious!" he meowed joyfully licking his lips.

"Really? Oh well then I'll get some more!" she raced to the hunting grounds hooking tails with Rainpelt and found the dam the beaver had been in. "Maybe there's more!" she exclaimed.
-
Rainpelt widened his eyes and licked a spot where he had gotten drag-burn from Brightcoral's pulling. "Ow!"
-
BrightCoral looked upset at it. She bent down and licked it. "Does it still hurt?"
OOC-Does it hurt mean say something nice or your roadkill ROTFL.
-
BrightCoral kept licking it to keep it cool. She put her paws on Rainpelts and stroked it. "Does it hurt?"
-
"Just a litte burn," Rainpelt meowed quickly. "Nothing to worry about. I dont need to see Oceanbreeze."
-
She nodded. "Well, I'm gonna go check," she dived into the water. Suddenly the beavers dam broke free and sent her swimming far away. Even a Waterclan cat couldn't swim in this type of current. She knew that if she kept going there would have been an waterfall sooner or later. She paddle as hard as she could but soon tiredness overwhelmed her, and she gave up, letting the current take her. "Don't come here!" she called out to Rainpelt. 'Stay! I'll find a way out!" she cried as she disapeered from sight.
-
"No, never!" Rainpelt plunged down the bank, thorn bushes snagging his fur, blood dropping to the ground. It snagged his muzzle, welling up with blood.
-
It was too late BrightCoral was coming close to the waterfall. She fall down with a deadly screech, then there was silence.
-
"Brightcoral!" Rainpelt skidded to a halt on the waterfall edge.
Ooc: will she die? -
OOC-No but close. Take vher to Oceanbreeze.
IC-Brightcoral was thier lying on her side bruises and cuts everywhere.
-
Rainpelt trotted up to her and prodded her pelt with a dark blue paw. "Brightcoral?"
-
BrightCoral was silent. She was close to death. "I lov-" that was all she could say.
-
"No, no, no, no..." Rainpelt kept soothing her. He dragged her back to camp.
-
OceanBreeze walked out of her den when she saw BrightCoral. "What happened!" she cried applying a bit honey on the wounds. "Take her in," she snarled dragging Brightcoral. She sprinkled some garlic powder to clean the wounds and added a few cold green mint leafs.
-
Rainpelt hurried in. "She fell into a river and then fell off a waterfall. I think she hit a rock when she fell."
-
OceanBreeze looked at her head and examined her skull. "She won't live till tomorrow.." she whispered. "The chances aren't slim...they're impossible...." she patted Rainpelts paw in grief.
OOC-Do you believe in miracles?
-
Ooc: yep. Im a Seventh-Day Adventist. What do ya expect.
Ic: Rainpelt hung his pale blue head. He slowly padded out of the medicine den and yowled in agony. -
TidalWave walked with Rainpelt. Oceanbreeze had told him. "What do you feel like to Brightcoral? Is she your friend your lover or what?" Tidalwave asked.
-
Rainpelt turned his head away. "She's a friend...i guess."
