The smallest panther~Sky

    Sky was an outcast. nobody liked her. so, she had ran away to find a new home. she was wandering in a swamp. then, she tripped over a root of an tree and fell in the swamp. the swamp was thick, almost like swimming in mud. "help!" she cried.

    A slender and young female panther slowly stalked through the Swamp, her paws a dark and murky color from the dirt; along with her stomach. "What in the world?" She asked herself, turning quickly towards the screaming, her pads thumping against the ground lightly.


    Without saying another word, Alianne jumped into the water and swam over to the panther, trying to grab her scruff and pull her back to shore. Despite the thickness of the water, Alianne was well built from hunting, and quick for the same reason. "A-are you alright?" She asked, panting heavily.

    Sky coughed. " i'm okay, thanks." she mewed. "i'm just an outcast. nobody likes me." :(

    Alianne laughed softly, licking her forehead to reassure her, "You're not alone on that one." She purred softly as she looked over herself then the panther. "Would you like to go get cleaned up? There's not sense in smelling like this." Alianne explained, licking her nose and muzzle of dirt. "I'm pretty hungry too, are you?"

    Sky nodded her head. she followed the panther.

    Alianne moved towards the thicker trees, the water long behind them. "You don't talk much, do you?" The panther asked, opening her maw ever so slightly to scent the air for any prey. "Smell anything?"

    Sky sniffed the air. "yea. i smell something good!"

    Alianne purred softly, lifting her snout ever sos slightly, "And what would that be?" She inquired, her thick pads thumping against the ground as she started to trot. The hunger inside of her slowly growing. 'Something large..Oh that would be wonderful.' The panther thought with a soft chuckle.


    In a flash, a large hawk swooped down, and it was still. "Well then." Alianne whispered, licking her blood covered paw. "Your not very large, but you will do." The panther was very quick, and skilled with killing birds. "You can have this one..Ahh, I never got your name little one." Alianne then padded towards the deeper brush, crouching down to pass the branches that looked like they were reaching for the earth. To touch the roots almost.


    Slinking past like a snake, Alianne moved her way through until stopping to hide behind a thick branch. Mere yards away from her were a family of pigs. The father was quite large, along with the mother. The little ones would live for future meals or hunts.


    With quick and silent moves, Alianne leaped into the air and landed right on the father, biting straight down on his back until he stopped wiggling. The mother and piglets ran of squealing. "Much better." She purred loudly, licking her maw of blood, pulling the hog back towards the branch to hide her meal from other panthers. Alianne had always had a problem with other panthers, but she didn't mind this one. She was quiet and didn't speak much. "Perfect." She purred once more, tearing a large piece from the pigs side as she began to enjoy her meal.

    Sky ate some parts of the pig and mewed to alianne, "thanks!"

    Alianne smiled towards the she-panther before yawning silently. "Well you can have the rest of this, but I'm off to my den, farewell." She purred, leaping onto a large branch, disappearing into the branches.

    Sky yawned and went to find shelter.
