  • Mav nodded and waltz back to his den. It wasn't too far away, and he made sure to keep pace with Tundra. Once there, he sat by the entrance and waited.

  • [font=georgia] Tundra trotted lightly over towards him with quick flicks of her paws. She parted her maw to taste the air, her body shivering slightly. A few droplets plopped onto the ground from her drenched coat, staining the dirt a dark color.

  • [font=georgia]Tundra shook her head, "I think I'll manage. Don't worry too much for nothing, my love." She hoped she sounded convincing enough. Stretching her cold, tired muscles, she forced herself to shake off more droplets.

Camelle backed away slightly at the sight of the German shepherd, her floppy ears twitching underneath the sun's glare. The collie hoped the male wouldn't spot her and scent her heat scent. Holding her breath, she took several more steps back.

  • Mavy offered a nod. "I can't help but worry though. It's just how ya feel when someone you care for doesn't feel well." The dog stated, taking a few steps back. "But.. if you're cold.. we could always cuddle, share warmth. That warms ya fast."

  • [font=Georgia]Tundra shuddered as a cool breeze swept her coat, causing her to tremble even more. "I-I c-can't turn down that generous offer, I'll give you that." She smiled softly, digging her paws into the ground to stop herself from shaking too much.

  • Mav shrugged. Well. Cold had to be better than in heat, right? He then made a little motion with his paw, indicating for the fae to come closer if she wished to share warmth.

  • [font=Georgia]Tundra closed in the space between them without any further hesitation. Though she was still cold, she enjoyed the warmth he provided her. Smiling, she peered into his eyes, wondering where were they off to next.

  • Mav paused long enough to sigh. This closeness was nice, and he found himself pressing closer to the female. Not only in an effort to warm her, but also because of his recently discovered feelings... He hoped they'd stay here for a while. Then.. when Tundra was warm keep goin' to wherever they would go.

  • [font=Georgia]Tundra had been regarding a thought that had occurred to her several moments ago. Finally, she spoke aloud, "Why don't we go to a sunny area? So I can dry quicker?" She suggested, curling her elegant gray and white tail.

  • [font=Georgia]Tundra smiled, "You know this area better then I do. I'll follow you." She dipped her head, shaking out more droplets. "Anywhere is fine."

  • Mav shook his head, a wry smile forming. "Ya. Well, the sun IS gonna be setting pretty soon. That's why I suggested coming here. It can get cold at night.. and with you an' I in here, it won't take much to keep it warm."

  • [font=Georgia]Tundra laughed lightly, "All right then. We'll stay." She sat back down on her haunches, lapping off the gleaming water from her still wet fur. Her fur was plastered to her sides, giving her a lean yet skinny appearance. She blinked the water from her eyes, smiling.

  • Mavy moved a bit closer, and leaned in to help her cleanse and dry her fur, and also to warm the female. As he did so, he kept his eyes averted. "You know.. there's another thing. We could do, to get warm."

  • [font=Georgia]Tundra considered a moment, "I got nothing. How? What can we do?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side, opposite from the direction of the waters she once was in.

  • Mavy felt his eyes drop half-way shut. He shook his head. "If you don't know, then it's better that way." He answered, managing a small, half hearted laugh. "Just forget I said anything, love."

  • [font=Georgia]"Oh c'mon," Tundra budded teasingly, nudging his shoulder gently with her nose. "Tell me." She rubbed her cheek against his, pulling back just to show that her eyes were glittering pleadingly. Like a puppy.

  • Mavy shook his head. "Nope. I'm not tellin' ya." He said, matching the tone. He did press up against Tundra though, closing his left eye in a sort of relaxed nature. "You can figure it out, if you really think about it."

  • [font=georgia]Tundra felt her body relax slightly to his familiar touch, "Pleeease?" She pleaded one last time, keeping her puppy eyes. She didn't give up, even though she knew Maverick wouldn't bother to tell her.
