Shadowpaw needs some buddies, maybe even a crush {o}

    Shadowpaw was curled up under a large bush, engulfed in the darkness. The sunlight was out, just like all the other cats. Though Shadowpaw didn't really enjoy the sunshine, she prefered the shadows. That's probably why she doesn't have a social life.
    The apprentice looks out. The kits are happily playing, apprentices training, warriors out on patrols. She should be training right now but her Mentor, Goldenstrike, was out on an errand.

    IC~ Blazepaw's bright orange tabby pelt glowed in the sun and he glanced in a bush seeing eyes and he smirked exiting camp and went behind the bush were Shadowpaw was and peered his head in. "Hello." He said to her

    Owlpaw spotted shadowpaw and walked over alongside blazepaw and said to shadowpaw "what'cha doing down there?" he said "shouldn't you be training with goldenstrike?"

    Shadowpaw wasn't used to fellow apprentices approaching her, but she decided to atleast act social and she pulled herself out. Fluffing out her black fur, she looked at them with amber eyes.


    "It's just quiet down there, I needed some rest." her shy voice told them. With a shy smile she added, "Goldenstrike was needed for an errand, so he left me without a mentor for the day."

    Shadowpaw shrugged lightly, "I don't mind. I can catch up on some rest." With that she yawned and stretched, flexing her back before sitting down, her tail landed daintly around her fore-paws.
    "Aren't you guys meant to be training?" she asked, a slight tilt to her head.

    Shadowpaw smiled. "What did you do today?" she asked Owlpaw.
    She didn't realise how being social was so easy. She was actually enjoying talking to these two. She just found it hard to talk with warriors.

    Shadowpaw giggled lightly at the tom-like gesture, "A rabbit!" she echoed. Rabbits were fast, and smart. Not many cats, let alone apprentices, can catch a rabbit.
    "I never knew there were rabbits in our territory." she added.

    "me neither...until today! go look on the fresh-kill pile for proof!" he boasted "what do you usually catch when you go to hunt?" he asked her

    Shadowpaw smiled shyly, "Honestly? Well the best thing I have caught is...a crow I think. But it was sick, and old. Other than that, mainly mice and whatnot."

    Shadowpaw couldn't help but giggle too, she looked over to Blazepaw for a second before quickly looking away again.


    Shadowpaw's sister, Birchpaw, made her way over, with their brother Squirrelpaw in toe.


    "What's everyone up to over here?" Birchpaw said, sitting down with the group of apprentices.
    "Looks like you're having more fun then us," Squirrelpaw grunted, sitting himself beside Owlpaw.

    Squirrelpaw sighed, "We were just out training with Hawkblaze and Redfang." Birchpaw piped in, "We didn't get to do anything. We just had to sit there and listen and it was sooo boring."



    Shadowpaw snorted lightly. She didn't really get on with her siblings. Birchpaw and Squirrelpaw were popular and more social, while Shadowpaw was more of a loner and shy.


    Birchpaw exchanged a glance with Squirrelpaw and before long they were up and off again, heading towards the fresh kill pile.

    Owlpaw watched them go then turned back to shadowpaw "well what's you're favorite thing to do during training?, i love to practice my battle moves! frostleaf is always down withen seconds!...well..at least after a minute...so all-well...erm..lets just say i manage to get him down in the end!" he said

    Shadowpaw giggled at this tom. He was clearly trying to show off to Shadowpaw, and Shadowpaw enjoyed it.
    "I've been told I am quite good at hunting skills, esspecially my pounce and stalk." She said proudly.
    "Goldenstrike said I should become a warrior soon." Her tail lifted to the air. She was 12 moons old, she could be made a warrior now if Jaystar wanted too. Shadowpaw was able to wait.


    "I wonder what my warrior name will be." she said, thinking. Shadowmoon? Shadowpelt? Shadowclaw?
