Jace watched the she-dragon climb into the sky. He admired the skill that it would take to achieve those heights. "Guess I'm gonna have to get use to that too..." He wandered into the open and notcied the other dragon. Male by the looks of it.

Rohan turned to see another dragon. He took a step back, surprised.
-
Magpie watched the sky from the forest floor. She fluffed her creamy feathers up and exhaled deeply before walking toward a small stream, stretching her long, heron-like legs. After a swallow or two of fresh water, the female spread her beautiful wings and flapped them delicately, then lifted up off the ground and soared above the treetops. The wind curled through her feathers and Magpie smiled and let out a peaceful screech. Today was going to be a good day.
-
Rohan narrowed his eyes, looking over the dragon. He felt like he had seen it before. "Who are you?" he sniffed the air, trying to recognize it's scent, but no luck.
-
"I'm... Jace?" He said a bit stunned, this was all still so overwelming. What if I mess up? he thought scared
-
The red dragon eyed him, then stepped closer. "I'm Rohan" he grinned, dipping his head slightly.
-
Magpie glided gracefully above the forest. Soon, she had found herself flying in the clouds, the forest out of view. The clouds were soft and fluffy as a few of them hit her in the face. It was like a blanket of soft pillows filled with feathers. The female gave another screech. As the wind current changed, she dove down, her wings folded against her sides. Like a rocket, she came darting down out of the clouds. As she saw land below, she unfolded her wings, creating a large gust of wind as she flapped and steadied herself once more.
-
Rohan turned his head, hearing wings. Maybe it is the black dragon? He thought curiously. He turned around completely and jumped into the air, spreading his wings. His eyes searched the ground and forest for the source of the wings.
-
Magpie glanced at her long wings. A wind streak was left behind from how fast she was flying. A smirk wrinkled her face up and she continued to fly. The young female glanced down, only to see a male dragon searching for something. Magpie cocked her head and threw her wings in front of her, pulling her to a complete stop in mid-air. She was hovering, watching him curiously with her pink eyes.
-
Rohan, stiffened his wings, letting an updraft make him rise higher. He looked up, flapping.
-
Although the male didn't seem to be a threat, Magpie couldn't help but to be a little cautious of the muscular dragon, as he was larger than her. "What brings you to this side of the skies? You should know that this forest," she suggested with one of her wings, "Is my home and I sure don't recall seeing you before," she snorted rather rudely. Magpie wasn't known as being friendly, especially to strangers.
-
Jace watched and followed at his own pace. His flight was smooth and straight. "Rohan nice name."
He looked at Magpie "Oh well, I'm new around here..." -
Rohan nodded to Jace in return. He growled and turned to the other dragon. "I haven't recalled seeing you either" smoke was rising out of his nostrils as he spoke, fire burning in his throat.
-
Magpie's pink eyes narrowed and her feathers fluffed up. "I spend most of my time on the ground," she growled, "The only time I leave the forest floor is to stretch my wings and maybe, if I'm lucky, get a quick meal and keep an eye out for other dragons." The female had flapped her wings and was closer to the two dragons now. "So, you're Rohan, hmm? Not a bad name. And, who might you be?" she huffed, turning her head to look at Jace.
-
"I'm Jace..." he said quietly and a bit nervous. He had never really seen any female dragons that looked quiet like this.
-
Magpie could tell that Jace was a bit nervous. He has good reason to be, she thought with a smirk. "I'm Magpie," she replied, "I've seen other dragons beside you two, but they were always more aggressive, so you can bet that's why I came off so rudely, if I did at all." Her voice was now gentle but there was a bit of a growl. To the beautiful female, she wasn't being rude, but everyone else always thought differently.
-
Jace's nervous look hardened a bit as he scanned the tree's canopy. "So whats there to do around here..."
-
night crashed through the trees unconcus falling right passed jace spear tips in her scales and arrow holes in her ragged wings a spot of black and scarlet blood running from a point on her head down he snout.
-
Jace having noticed the spear tips and other wounds raced to her fallen body. "Oh my..." He stared at the wounded dragon that he did not yet know. "Rohan!" He called out.
-
nights peircing yellow eyes were open but glazed over.
