[font=georgia] Harry smiled when she didn't suggest the mall. Lately that's all she would suggest and that'd shop until he had no money in his wallet any longer. When she mentioned the restaurant, he gave a firm nod. "Then we should go there, beautiful." he murmured, kissing the back of her hand, his eyes never leaving hers. He let his hands slip from her own. [color=white]"It's about time we should get going, then, though. I have plans to make with the lads they are very important." She didn't want to tell her it was specifically Louis.

Kathy nodded in understanding. She didn't realize it was Louis he was talking about. If she had, she probably would have thrown a fit. But she didn't. "Alright. I'll see you later, then." She kissed his cheek then got up and started to leave without another word spoken.
Louis watched Katgy leave and sighed in relief. He was glad to finally her gone. His gaze flickered to Harry quietly and he slipped over to him. "Kathy leave?" He asked, though he already knew the answer to that question.
-
[font=georgia] Harry watched Kathy go. He took the last sip of his tea, his eyes averting to Louis as he slipped into the booth across from him. He tried not smile, remembering how Harry was reacting to him. He rolled his green eyes, nodding. [color=white]"Yes, Lou. She's gone." he said. [color=white]"Thanks for flipping her off in public. You know how sensitive she is."
-
"Welcome!" Louis replied with a small nod. "She isn't sensitive she's evil! And she's using you. Why don't you notice that?! It's never been about you to her it's about your money, the fame, and tge things you give her. If you took those things away she'd leave you in a second." He folded his arms and stared at Harry, already slightly frustrated. This would be the third or fourth time they would have this conversation. He knew Harry wouldn't believe him. He just thought Louis was making it up. But why would he do that? Sure, he doesn't like her but he wouldn't say it if if want true. Because she made Harry happy, and usually that made Louis happy. Unless you add the witch to the picture.
-
[font=georgia] Harry rolled his eyes, the smile still there when he said 'welcome' Obviously Harry's sarcasm was too advanced. Either that, or Louis just didn't care. When he brought up her using him again, that's when he lost that smile. He watched Louis explain for about the fourth time that he was being used by Kathy by money and fame. He sighed frustratingly. There was no way he was convinced the beautiful lass was a Material Girl. She seemed too innocent. [color=white]"Lou, I know you don't like her but she's innocent." Harry murmured, looking down at the table, drawing imaginary things in the table so he didn't have to look at Louis's face.
-
"Why do you think I dislike her so much?" Louis questioned, giving a frustrated sigh. Why couldn't Harry just see that he was right? Louis didn't like her, yes, but he'd never lie about something like this. He'd never be that low. "Because she is using you. Use that big brain of yours and think about it, really hard. Okay? What does she do all day? Oh yeah, she makes you take her to the mall. She shops and shops until you have no more money to spend, and even then she asks for more. All she ever talks about is the fancy houses and cars and stuff that she wants you to buy her. She doesn't care about you. It's your money she loves. Why don't you just believe me? I'm not making this up!" He said seriously, narrowing his eyes slightly. He was just trying to save Harry from heartbreak. He looked up at his friend pleadingly, hoping he'd just wake up and realize that he was right.
-
[font=georgia] As Louis went on, Harry wasn't sure if he wanted to hear anymore. To Harry, it sounded too right. The shopping. The houses. But then he was trying to convince himself that it wasn't true. He didn't want to believe it. Yes, he may be acting stubborn but there was no way Harry was going to believe that she was in it for the money. He gave a frustrated sigh. "Lou, she's just excited about our future." he said calmly as possible, expression emotionless. [color=white]"And she just likes a little bit of spoiling. But I'm taking her out to eat tonight, not to the mall." He refused to meet Louis's eyes now, biting his bottom lip. [color=white]"Let's not talk about it."
-
"Whatever. But when you realize I'm right and she breaks your heart, don't come crawling to me." Louis said with a small snort. He huffed and folded his arms over his chest. He knew he was right. He knew that eventually Kathy would find someone else with more money and more to offer, and she'd leave Harry in a heartbeat. Louis sighed softly. He just wanted to save Harry from Kathy. He loved him and he didn't want to see Harry upset when she finally did leave him. "I don't see why you never believe me. I would never lie to you and yet you still refuse to believe me." He mumbled.
-
[font=georgia] Harry shrugged, wanting to change the subject. Quickly, he just said. "Well if it happens, you can say I told you so." He nodded curtly then changed the subject as quickly as Louis brought it up. "So," he started thoughtfully looking up at nothing in particular, lips pursued. [color=white]"What would you like to do tomorrow?"
-
Louis rolled his eyes slightly as Harry attempted to change the subject. When it did happen, he'd do more than just say 'I told you so.' He'd get on the full Tomlinson rage, lecturing Harry about how Louis was right and he should have just listened. Then he'd go beat the crap out of Kathy. He sighed softly and decided to let the subject just slip. He managed a small smile. Harry hadn't forgotten. Which made his tense muscles relax slightly. "I don't know. We haven't really spent much time together and... I'm not exactly sure what you'd like to do anymore." He let his shoulders slump in disappointment in himself. He basically felt like they were two strangers. He wasn't even sure what Harry would like to do anymore. How could he have forgotten? He sighed slightly.
-
[font=georgia] Harry never lost his smile, relieved that Louis let the subject change. At what Louis said, he tried not to frown again. He couldn't believe that it had been that long. He sort of hoped that maybe Louis was joking but he knew that the older lad was serious. Harry became thoughtful, biting at his bottom lip. "Maybe..." he started, still trying to think. [color=white]"Maybe we could go to that fair or go out and part at a club?" he suggested. Harry didn't really care where they went as long as they went together. He really owed Louis more than anyone else... especially since he broke his promises more than once. He was lucky Louis still gave him an chance.
-
Louis looked up at Harry. How was it that Harry remembered what he'd like to do, but Louis couldn't remember what he'd like to do? He sighed. He felt like a terrible friend. But nonetheless, a smile was on his face. "Hmm... will, I really don't care what we do." He said, thinking what Harry was. He just wanted to spend time with the younger boy. "I mean... as long as I get to be with you either is fine. But I'm liking the club idea..." He murmured softly. His eyes never left Harry, and he felt himself getting lost in them again. Why did Harry have to be so beautiful? He didn't get how someone could literally be that perfect.
-
[font=georgia]Harry's rubbed his temples and nodded. "Clubbing sounds about something I'd like to do, too..." he said, closing his eyes briefly before opening them to meet Louis's beautiful blue eyes. He hated looking into them because then he got easily lost in them. He bit his bottom lip, giving a little more nervous grin. [color=white]"Since I won't be with Kathy until later tonight, we could hang at the flat until later tonight." he said, getting up from the booth.
-
Louis sighed when he heard that name again. Kathy. How was it that she always somehow made her way into their conversations? Even the sound of her name made him go spiraling in a fit of rage. But this time he simply nodded. He didn't want to argue with Harry about her or upset him. "Alright. Sounds fun!" He said, perking up slightly. He'd actually been a bit more depressed lately. Ever since Kathy showed up. Of course, he wasn't exactly sure if Harry noticed at all. Louis doubted it. He didn't seem to pay much attention to him, or at least Louis thought so. He stood up after Harry did and sighed softly. He looked at Harry and smiled slightly. "No forgetting this time."
-
[font=georgia][color=georgia]Harry nodded, ready to get back. He met Louis hopeful gaze and sighed, nodding simply. [color=white]"Promise." he murmured. He looked around before heading towards the exit of the door. He lightly tapped Niall, pointing towards the door. Niall nodded and Harry did too. He looked at Louis one last time with a small time. He thought about Kathy, trying to convince himself he wasn't convinced by what Louis had said. He just wanted to get home and show Louis he hadn't completely forgot about him and maybe get him to like Kathy. That'd probably never happen.
-
Louis watched as the other boys started getting ready to leave. But he just sat there, lingering there for a moment. The thoughts running through his mind made his eyes distant as he slowly trudged toward the door. He was ready to leave this place too. They'd been there for, in his opinion, far too long. He didn't even wait for the other boys, he just left the building without a word. His expression was grim as he passed, once again falling into his depressive mood. He should be happy. The one he loved was going to make room for him in his busy schedule. But that was it. There was once a time when Harry didn't have to try and make room for Louis. There was always room for them to just hang out. But all of that just seemed like a distant memory. Maybe not even that anymore. Maybe just a distant dream that he could only ever hope to happen again. He walked out to the car and crawled into his seat, buckling himself in silently.
-
[color=teal][font=georgia]Harry noticed Louis's sad state. He frowned, feeling bad for not believing someone he used to be with so much. The one he loved ... maybe even still did. He bit his bottom lip, waiting for the others to get into the car before he got in himself, making sure to get in the passenger's seat. He buckled the seatbelt, thinking about how he'd cheer the older lad up.
-
Louis was driving. Which even he thought was a bad idea. He was so tempted to just drive to a bridge and- wait what? He blinked slightly and snapped himself out of his thoughts. He just needed to relax was all. He tapped the steering wheel as he drove silently toward the flat that they all shared. It was a few minutes later that they actually got there. Quickly, he unbuckled his seatbelt and slipped out of the car and into the flat. He sighed softly and noticed Kathy's stuff was here. He'd forgotten she basically moved in without permission one day and never left. He shuddered and stormed off into his room, not wanting to run into the 'witch' as he called her. He sat down on his bed and gazed at his ceiling. That was basically his only pass time anymore. It was sad really. He used to feel so happy, immature, and just overall full of life. Now he felt empty. Dead inside. Almost nothing got him to smile or laugh. And when he did, it was all just a mask. He curled up on his bed and hid his face in his pillow, hoping to drown out his thoughts somehow.
-
[font=georgia] Harry watched Louis more briefly, thinking he saw that upset look on his face, the tightness in his muscles as he drove. Harry sighed, all thoughts pointed to it was all his fault that him and Louis was so awkward. He hardly paid attention to Louis anymore and it was clear that Louis was hurt because of it. When they got home, Harry watched Louis leave leaving the car in awkward silence. He knew that Kathy was probably here, waiting on him. They shared a room together now. He felt bad though. He was just going to talk to Louis. Getting out, Harry followed after Louis as soon as Harry disappeared inside the house and headed into the house after him. "Lou!" he called, running upstairs and towards Louis's room. He stopped, feeling a bit nervous now. He slowly made his way closer towards his room before knocking on it. [color=white]"Lou..." he repeated in a much quieter voice, knocking nervously on the door.
-
Louis sat up on his bed, staring at the door silently. He slowly edged off his bed and put his mask of happiness back on as he opened it. The surprise on his face as he realized that Harry was actually there was pretty sad. No one should be that surprised to find their best friend at their door. But he was. Shocked even. "Oh um..." He said softly, biting his lip gently. "You need something?" That was all he could even think of saying. Louis half expected Harry to be in his room with Kathy, who was probably in there messing with her little 'toys' Harry had gotten her. But no. He was there, standing outside of his room.
