  • Moonstruck, a blood red, winged, flaming-eyed she-cat, sat alone in darkness. The Void was a thin area between the area of the living and the area of the dead. It was endless blackness, and you could walk or run for seasons and seasons and never reach it's end. In order to be reborn, you had pass through Moonstruck first. She then determined whether you would be allowed to keep your memories or if you had a new life. In order to keep the Void strong enough to separate the two worlds, she had to control "the strings of fate." To do that, she made sure trees that killed cats fell, and lost cats stayed lost or found their way. And, because she did her job, the Clans hated her. Kits were told frightening tales that made her seem like a monster, and warriors sneered at her when she rarely showed herself.

    The worst part?

    She had to stay with a chosen clan, chosen by StarClan, while the void was checked. StarClan was the one who placed her in the void in the first place, and by now, you can understand why she hated them. And, this time, the chosen Clan was ThunderClan.

    ~~~
    With a sigh, Moonstruck padded through the entrance of ThunderClan camp, pushing a float, perfectly smooth stone ahead of her. She couldn't see around the stone, but she tried to look normal as she pushed her way into the camp, and hoped that the cats had been kind enough of arrange a nest for her, but, knowing they hated her, they hadn't, and even if they had, they probably put thorns in it.
  • A kit padded up to moonstruck"hello she said what's your name?"all the othekits looked at her as if she was crazy
  • "Moonstruck." Moonstruck huffed, panting and lifted her head from pushing the stone, "You sure you haven't heard scary stories about a big, winged cat that killed bad kits or something?" Moonstruck was well aware of everything that went on in the clans. It was part of her job to know.
  • "Yes but they are just stories I don't believe them and no one else is talking to you"she mewed in a small voice
  • "Well," Moonstruck huffed, puffing up her fur, "You better believe them!" She pawed at the kit playfully, "Roar! Fear the mighty beast!" She bent down as if she was gonna eat her. She was glad at least someone didn't fear her or hate her, for once. Besides, she hadn't played like this in a while.
    Her voice was rough, turned a little mean sounding by years of arguments, and her playful swipes were a bit rough as well.
    As Moonstruck played with the kit, a sudden thought occurred to her. Would the Clan cats think she was actually trying to hurt the kit?
  • Moonstruck sat up, afraid of what would happen to her if they really did think so. She glanced around the camp, looking for a place to put her stone while she waited to be shown her den. With a sigh, she stood up and began pushing the stone towards a far corner of camp. Because the large stone was heavier than it looked, she made slow progress.
    A muscular, dark tabby tom watched the winged feline as she shoved the rock to a corner of camp. His usually bright eyes were narrowed with disgust. He wasn't a fan of Moonstruck, and for a good reason too. That cat was a murderer. And despite the regret and sadness that glimmered in her eyes that night, after she had tugged the strings of fate and caused his sister's death, he swore to himself that he'd never forgive her. Moonstruck was a beast -- a monster!
    And Pinefrost hoped she knew that.
  • Moonstruck cleared her throat a little, "Have you, uh, made a nest for me yet?" She asked. She normally talked to the cats the same way they talked to her, with anger and hate, as if their life was a game. But, during Void checks, she had to be kinder, or she would be kicked out.
    Ooc | ..I feel bad now for doing this to your char. ;-;
    His piercing stare did not waver as he answered her question. "Yeah." The large tom grunted, his tail flicking over to the Dirtplace. Not far from it was a sad-looking nest, which was practically falling apart at the seams as it baked in relentless sunlight. It was particularly hot today. "Enjoy." Pinefrost wanted to smirk as he said it, to walk away and chuckle darkly. But the memory of his sister would not leave him, and he couldn't force the tinniest grin onto his face.
    Instead, the tom spun around, walking off and out of the camp.
  • (Don't. She's mean to them, too!)
    Moonstruck sighed. Pushing herself to her paws, she huffed and puffed her way to the nest, pushing the stone ahead of her. Glancing around, she pushed the stone as close to the wall as she could, then went to go and collect some moss, to bolster her skimpy nest, and brambles to give herself some privacy. She didn't like the glares she seemed to constantly receive from her temporary clanmates.
    (I HAVE AN IDEA. How about Pinefrost guards her at night, because everyone is afraid she's gonna do something. So he's appointed the task of keeping eye on her that night?)
