Fallenstar dropped the kit gently down in one of the nests. "Lightsky," he asked. "Will you help this kit? Kindleflame's not around to do it."

"Ohhhhh! A new denmate!" Dawnkit squealed with delight.
Dustyfur tasted the air. Nothing but the fresh scent of the forest.

Lightsky nodded and Fallenstar purred. He dropped the kit at her paws and she went away licking him.
"Whats your name, little one?" She asked. -

Silverkit stared up at the kit. "Yea, a new playmate!"

"I thought his name was Leafkit!" Dawnkit cocked her yellow tabby point head.

Silverkit shook her head. "Apparently not."
Lightsky looked at them, annoyed. "Why don't you two go play outside?" -
"Why should we? I wanna see Leafkit...or whatever his name is!" Dawnkit frowned.
Dustypelt came back to camp and laid 2 voles and a mouse down on the freshkill pile. He padded over. "Whats all the ruckus?"

"Raven," he said. "Lightsky is going to take care of her."
Silverkit POV:
"Her name isn't Leafkit it's Raven, right, Raven?"

Dawnkit stuck her tongue out. "What kind of name is Raven?"
Dustypelt watched...quietly.

"I think its a great name." She hissed, slightly puffing up her fur. "She'll be a great warrior."

Dawnkit narrowed her golden eyes. "Fine." She whipped around and stalked away, mumbling," Ill just go play Moss Ball on my own, with Dustypelt."
Dustypelt took a few steps back at the mention of Moss Ball.
