  • So she is an assassin then Kid thought, frowning to himself he turned his aim onto the man who'd just walked into view. The young boy watched him closely, ready to fire should anything happen that mght endanger himself. He knew not of these two others though, and so he didn't know what to expect. He was hidden behind one of the larger rocks surrounding the cave, and was facing the man, though not the girl. He tried to adjust his position so he could get a better look at them both, but made a schoolboy error. As he moved his left leg, a shower of small rocks crumbled down, "Dammit" he hissed quietly to himself, frowning at the man as he trained his twin pistols on him, Hopefully he'll be pre-occupied with the girl, that should buy me some time to get away he thought, beginning to move more slowly.

  • Zia heard the rocks fall but she knew better in these situation to look away. That could only end in death. " ... I am an assassin as I'm sure you know. Not a bounty hunter like you. I keep my promises, my word and my loyalty. " She insisted. Taking a cautious step forward, as of yet refusing to drop the gun she said " ... Who are you anyway bounty hunter? I as you probably know am the 'mourning wolf'.... ". Actually she knew as a bounty hunter he'd most likely know her name. Well technically she didn't have a real name but the name she had been called before becoming an assassin, after all it wasn't as if they registered the births of unnaturals' like her. As far as documents went they didn't exist.

  • Feral's eyes flicked up to the ledge when he heard rocks fall, but he immediately turned his gaze back to Zia. "I am called Feral." The hunter replied. "I know much about you." He added. "For instance, you go by the name Zia. You are fourteen years old. I really found it a pitty that I had to kill a little girl." He said.

  • Ooc: Thanks
    Ic: Maxwell continued to slither down the rungs, hoping that the other guy was okay... He had to be, right? He seemed capable to take care of himself.

    Jakov peered out from the small tunnel, scanning the darkness for Maxwell.

  • " I am no little girl. " The assassin replied. " I may be young but anything even close to a childhood has been snatched away from me... " Zia added, sorrow hinting in her voice. " I am nothing but a killing machine, trained to enjoy bloodlust. So I give you this warning and this warning only. Do not double cross me. " The girl told him firmly, her eyes gleamed demonically. " Or I promise I will show you not one ounce of mercy. " She threatened, just as calmly.

  • {Where are you, slipstream, shoedude? :(}

    Jakov silently crept onto the ledge again, searching for Maxwell. He had no idea why he was going back to look for him-- normally he would have just left.
    Perhaps it was the guilt of leaving behind his sister that urged him to go back.
    At least the argument would give him cover.

  • He frowned, only partially surprised, She's an assassin, what did you expect? he told himself, beginning to move more slowly backwards, trying to get behind the rocks. He'd decided the situation was not for him to interfere in, what happened here, was not of his doing, nor was it to become part of his doing. The three white stripes in his hair flashed momentarily in the sun, contrasting against his black hair as he attempted to get back, trying to keep an eye on the pair, and at the same time, trying to make sure he wasn't going to slip and fall, he'd made enough noise as it was, falling would only make him that little bit more likely to be noticed.

  • Feral nodded, "I was bred to be a weapon." He told her without expression on his features. "I had no childhood to be stolen away." He said. The man had been trained since he could walk to wield weapons, spy, sneak about, and most importantly to kill. "My parents tried to give me the best childhood that they could, but I would have none of it. I had been brainwashed to focus on fighting. It was only when I came of age that I realized what had happened." He told her before sighing. "There is no room for fooling around in this time, I'm afraid." He said before looking up at the rocks where something had disturbed them. He glanced over at Zia for a moment, then darted toward the rocks, easily climbing up them to search for their little spy. "Show yourself!" He snapped, cocking his gun once more.

  • He froze for a moment, logistics taking over.
    The crazy guy had a gun in a small enclosed area, hard stone, which would make the bullets bounce around, regardless of miss or hit.
    Hesitating, he decided to return to his tunnel, running into the darkness.

    {Gotta find a battle somewhere, sorry... I'll be back to Maxwell once shoedude/slipstream/wildclaw01 is back.}

  • Watching the bounty hunter dash after whatever or whoever made the noise she wanted to just have a full on tantrum. She had been trained to hide her emotions but not being able to use her sense of smell was getting to her. Licking her mouth again she decided to go after the bounty hunter. She was... Curious of who was spying on them. They would surly have to be off their rocket to spy on someone such as her. unless of course they were on her side. After all they seemed to have came from the direction the Brits were approaching from. A scout perhaps?

  • Jakov ascended a flight of steps, slipping awkwardly on the mysterious black slime that coated the stone, toward the surface. Obviously, the sewers weren't safe any longer. He had to find a new area to hide in. A graveyard, perhaps? Or an abandoned building? Just to wait out the mysterious visitors...

    {When they're back I'll just make him go back in the sewers..}

  • Kid gritted his teeth, "Very well" he said, standing up, the young boy had his pistols trained on the guy already. He was only a few meters away from the bounty hunter, so they were at a dead-lock, if one fired, the other would as well. He processed what he'd heard, the accent with which the girl had spoken had placed her as his ally, a fellow Brit. And she'd made a deal with this bounty hunter, that, to him, made the man in front of him his ally as well. But still, he couldn't trust him just yet, and so he held his guns aimed at the guy's chest, waiting for him to make the first move.

  • " OI, calm it you nutcase clearly your a very sh**** spy if you can't figure out that this guys your ally. " The assassin told kid, easily picking up his accent and labelling him as her own ally. The Scottish girl sighed. She normally wouldn't be so free with her langue but she was particularly annoyed today. Calming down again she licked her mouth, shaking her head at the two of them.

  • {Hooray! Now to make an excuse...}

    The corridor veered sharply downwards as Jakov frowned, following the singular, twisting route, before emerging into a larger room. Beneath him, Lyra, Maxwell, and Xero were still there, only a few meters below. He drew in his breath sharply, and waited, glancing up at the manhole above the chasm that he certainly couldn't reach before he was shot or killed.

    {Of course... he won't be using that I don't think...}

  • {I don't think Wildclaw01 is on...}

    Jakov felt no inclination to help Xero, simply watching for the area above. As along as Lyra didn't kill Maxwell, he didn't care, honestly.
    People tended to romanticize him for his intense dislike for people killing others, marking him as a loyal ally. Not exactly-- Maxwell was his only ally, and two are better than one. Especially with Lyra...

  • Jakov reared back swiftly as the arrow skinned his arm. He hissed in pain, retreating farther into the tunnel, where he would be safe, unless, of course, she climbed up. In that case, he would use one of his precious knives or something.

  • She growled at him I know better than to climb, I need to make a plan for him to come down. Then she had A plan. She took out a arrow and then she shot it Maxwell, Hoping to get Jakov down.
