    Dawnpelt strained her ears to listen but all she heard was slurred words...she never really worried about what happens but she was seriously worried this time! she padded softly to the warriors den to get a little closer. She now understood most words.

    MidnightPaw hissed, and scratched the bark of the tree before her angrily, getting her anger out.
    "Why-” (scratch) "does StarClan have to do this-" (scratch) "to everyone!" She yowled.


    FirePaw sat quietly. "Do not give up on your love, BramblePaw. I can tell, though...Why does Whitepaw have to insist on breaking the warrior code?" She asked herself. "Just, allow yourself to love Whitepaw." FirePaw said. "I am giving up, once more. Go, take a chance." She said to BramblePaw.

    Bramblepaw shook her head, "he may need me but he can not love me Firepaw, it's against the medicine cat code as well as the warrior code. I cannot break either one. Firepaw give yourself a chance to be happy." She turned to Jayheart, "now you listen! You can tell her stuff but stay out of my fur Jayheart! I am happy now since I've finally cried it all out, how do you think it feels to have this big lump of sadness stuck inside you?!" She instantly calmed down her eyes widening at her ferociousness, "I'm sorry I don't mean to snap at you." She ducked her head and padded away. got to be your normal self Bramblepaw this isn't you. she heard Fernwhisker whisper softly in her ear, you were right about what you said, but remember follow your heart because that's where true happiness lies and where you truly now what is right and wrong... Goodbye my love. and the old she-cat was gone.

    Jayheart winced at bramblepaws words and backed away. He turned and walked out of camp, head down. His mind was a dark cloud. He had sadness in him. But he was even more so at bramblepaw's words



    Blindfoot passed Jayheart and looked around at all the cats, sighing to himself he sat near the entrance, keeping watch.

    FirePaw grinned at JayHeart, and licked his cheek."Thanks, again. And you need to stop sneaking up on me!" She said. "JayHeart, something strange has happened to me." She said. "You see, because I was trying to save my friends, l somehow managed to move a boulder! It doesn't make sense!" She said. "And I think is be this huge, sad mess if it wasn't for you, JayHeart." She said.

    Bramblepaw then turned and went for Jayheart. She ran and jumped on his back, "did you really think I could stay mad at you? To tell you the truth I was angry with myself it just happened to come out when I was talking to you. I really am sorry!" She said apologetically.

    Jayheart looked back at Firepaw and blushed, but he was still frowning. "It's okay firepaw. No matter what happens, I'll care for you." And with that he turned and kept walking out of camp.

    FirePaw smiled. "I think JayHeart helps a lot of cats." She said. Then she frowned, easily seeing his sadness. "JayHeart, what's wrong?" She asked. "You helped me, so let me help you." She said, flicking her ears.

    Jayhearts eyes gleam with slight amusement at bramblepaw. "I-it's okay. Just....I don't think you realize it, but whitepaw needs you." His eyes dull again. "I made the mistake of not loving once, don't let yourself feel that pain for the rest of your life."

    Jayheart looked at firepaw and tried to speak. "Firepaw, what I said about someone loving you....I-I was...talking about." He blushes and licks her ear. "Me."

    FirePaw was confused at her change of heart. But then she realised that,although she had had feelings for WhitePaw,cane should let him go. She realised the truth of JayHearts words. She had someone who had been there the whole time for her. FirePaws eyes widened. "JayHeart?" She whispered to herself. She thought back to all the kind things he had done, how he was the only one who truly understood, and felt a great weight lift from her heart, one she hadn't even realised she had.

    Jayheart smiled at her and closed his eyes. "I was so alone...and then you and your friends came one day. I-I didn't know what this feeling was I had when I first saw you. But you where alone to. And I wanted to be there."



    Blindfoot smiled at his friend. Glad that he was happy again.

    "Me too." FirePaw whispered. "I had my friend and siblings, but no one truly understood me. And then...I felt this pull towards you, and now it makes sense." She said, touching her nose to JayHearts.

    Roseblaze felt guilty. She just remembered her dark secret, and hopefully didn't have to share it. But she kept on thinking about it...


    Roseblaze was eleven moons old, and she just mated with a warrior not from her clan. His hazel brown coat made his lashing pine green eyes stand out. She had already broken the Warrior's Code right after her warrior ceremony, and felt courageous for not caring about the code. On the day of Roseblaze's kiting, she ventured out into the forest, finding her mate crashing through the bushes. She gave the kits to him, and came out ever so often to feed her whining kits.


    "Roseblaze, calm down. Only you and me know about it." She turned around, facing her sister, "Just go out and look for him, he should come after your call."
    "Okay," Roseblaze mewed, thinking about taking a SunlightClan apprentice back with her, specifically Fangpaw. She shot out of the den, rushing to the forest part of the hunting grounds.
    "Falconstrike!" Roseblaze yowled, as loud as she could.

    Blindfoot stood and walked over to bramblepaw. "Bramblepaw, I....I'm sorry for what I said. You....." He smiled and whispered. "You should follow your heart. Love is a powerful thing. I wont stop you from seeing whitepaw." He licked her forehead to show her he meant what he said.

    Jayheart purred and nuzzled firepaw. "I promise to never leave you alone. I want to be happy with you." He yawned softly, feeling emotionally exhausted.

    FirePaw leaned against him and sighed deeply. "Me too.. She replied. "I want to stay with you forever, JayHeart."

    Jayheart smiled and nudged away slightly. "I-I think I'm going to turn in for the night. Would....you like to join me?" He walked slowly towards the warriors den.
