  • Describes where certain herbs are found in Agrelos as well as their medicinal properties, uses, and rarity.

    Bolded herbs are abundant within that territory. *Starred herbs are rare to find and highly prized.


    Herbs that grow everywhere:

    • Borage: digestive, nervous and heart ailments
    • Burdock: calms swelling, sores and inflammation
    • Celandine: eye ailments, especially cataracts
    • Chickweed: inflamed/swollen joints
    • Chicory: liver ailments
    • Coltsfoot: coughs and pneumonia
    • Dandelion: supports liver and improves digestion
    • Dock: skin inflammation and fevers
    • Feverfew: female infertility, difficult labour
    • Horsetail: respiratory ailments
    • Lambs Quarters: burns
    • Mallow: sore throats, digestive ailments
    • Nettles: ingested, they assist those who’ve lost a lot of blood
    • Poppy: sedative, pain relief
    • Rhubarb: blood ailments, nervousness and lack of appetite
    • Sorrel: fevers and sweating, heat-stroke
    • Sow-thistle: heart palpitations
    • Tansy: fever and panic, prevents abortion
    • Yarrow: antiseptic, treatment for colds; ingested to induce vomiting
    • Violets: muscular pain and skin lesions


    Arcane Mountains

    rocky mountain range; high elevation

    • Bee Balm: antiseptic, stimulant
    • Betony: calming herb, muscle relaxant and aids sleep
    • Centaury: digestive ailments
    • Monk’s Hood: deadly poison
    • Mountain Flax: digestive and skin ailments
    • *Red Root: strengthens blood, particularly useful at high altitude
    • Rosemary: heart ailments, blood issues, epilepsy


    Bleak Wilds

    northern plains of grass; cold temperature; important to note Lake Minos

    • Adder’s Tongue: antiseptic, reduces inflammation
    • Agrimony: digestion issues
    • Bilberries: coughs and sore throats
    • Flax: pregnancy aid
    • Knapweed: failing appetite
    • Lavender: vomiting and faintness, calming inhalation therapy
    • *Mustard: failing appetite, general (weak) poison antidote
    • Pansy: heart weakness and pain, seizures in young animals
    • Sage: improves milk production, poultice for wounds and swellings
    • Toad Flax: jaundice
    • Wild Oat: cramps and anaemia, depression
    • Witch Hazel: ulcerated and burnt tissue, antiseptic properties, all inflammation


    Bound Meadow

    hilly grassland, lots of streams and ponds; lots of flowers

    • *Avens: heart ailments, generalised weakness
    • Chamomile: bites and stings, fever, earache, insomnia, headaches and hangovers
    • Cornflower: nervous ailments, paralysis
    • Crocus: joint pain
    • Daisy: skin lesions, swellings and bruises
    • Eyebright: conjunctivitis and hay fever
    • Goldenrod: stops bleeding
    • Hyssop: respiratory ailments, eye ailments
    • Lavender: vomiting and faintness, calming inhalation therapy
    • Marigold: fevers, heart disease, all issues with skin
    • Ragwort: skim ailments


    Chief Canyon

    bleak rocky/sandstone canyon; hot/temperate climate; important to note Mushroom Forest

    • Aloe Vera: external burns and skin irritation
    • *Houseleek: fading eyesight, bruises and swelling
    • Marjoram: fevers and panic, poultice for wounds


    Cogent Tundra

    snow and ice; few trees; very cold

    • Lichen: joint issues, antiseptic


    Cuneus Islands

    • Mullein: respiratory ailments, internal bleeding
    • *Scurvy Grass: highly antiseptic, powerful blood cleaner
    • Sea Holly: chest pain


    Derelict Expanse

    hot days, cool nights; little rain; important to note cacti forest and forest cave

    • Aloe Vera: external burns and skin irritation
    • *Fenugreek: gastric weaknesses, failing milk supply
    • Marjoram: fevers and panic, poultice for wounds
    • Parsley: obesity, constipation, fever

    Floating Archipelago

    five islands; green forest, tundra, wetlands, clouded forest, tundra; important to note high elevation

    Forested Islands:

    • Alder: swelling, bark is ingested to aid blood issues
    • Ash: bark is ingested to aid fevers
    • Elder: flowers for skin ailments and throat ailments, berries for coughs
    • Elm: bark for mouth ailments
    • Oak: leaves for muscle wastage, poor appetite

    same as arcane mountains, though can assume higher in elevation

    • Buckbean/Marsh Trefoil: digestive and nervous ailments

    • Meadowsweet: fevers and diarrhoea

    Sundran Jungle

    • Lapacho: cancerous tumours
    • Pusangade motelo: calming effect
    • Rat’s Tail: digestive ailments
    • *Suma Ginseng: enhance immune system, fights sepsis, energizer
    • Shapumvilla: stops bleeding
    • Tayuya: bark used to reduce pain and inflammation
    • Tawari: bark used against inflammation and infection
    • Wasai: tree roots ground up help with kidney health


    Treacherous Steppe

    grassland, windy; very hot in the south (volcanic)

    • Daisy: skin lesions, swellings and bruises
    • Couch Grass/Twitch: kidney ailments
    • *Eucalyptus: fevers, internal inflammation, inhalation therapies
    • Tormentil: wounds and bleeding, sores, warts


    Velu Forest

    bamboo forest; cool/moderate temperatures

    • Bamboo: baby shoots have a cooling and calming effect
    • Garlic: fevers, skin complaints, external skin parasites
    • Ginger: nausea, energizer, digestive ailments
    • Gingko: asthma, breathing difficulties
    • Liquorice: respiratory ailments, female infertility
    • Lotus: roots can be ingested as an energizer, treats anaemia
    • *Orchid: general weakness, prevents abortion
    • Wild strawberries: blood ailments, digestive ailments, prevents abortion


    Vessel Lake Meadow

    series of meadows interspersed with lakes; temperate climate

    Lakeside plants:

    • Brooklime: skin issues and blood ailments
    • Lotus: roots can be ingested as an energizer, treats anaemia
    • Mint: vomiting, ending milk production; rub for sore joints
    • Watercress: anaemia, failing appetite, failing milk production

    Meadow plants:

    • Clover: throat ailments, infertility
    • Daisy: skin lesions, swellings and bruises
    • Eyebright: conjunctivitis and hay fever
    • *Lady’s Mantle: lack of appetite, muscle wasting


    Volcanic Island

    entirely volcanic, no herbs


    Whispering Pines

    pine forest, dense canopy (dark environment); cool climate

    • Anemone (wind-flower): eye-issues remedy
    • Briar Rose: use the hips; bleeding, prevents abortion, nervous system stimulant
    • Currants: fevers, mouth and throat ailments
    • Ferns: nutritional, internal parasites
    • Foxglove: heart medicine (deadly if overdose), poultice for swelling
    • Juniper: inflamed gastric tract, painful joints
    • Mistletoe: epilepsy medicine (large doses very toxic)
    • Pennyroyal: post-birth medicinal aid for mother
    • Pine: all respiratory complaints; poultice for old sores and tumours, swelling and sprained limbs, use pine tar so soothe injured paw pads
    • *Sweet violet: treatment of cancerous tumours
    • Witch Hazel: ulcerated and burnt tissue, antiseptic properties, all inflammation


    Wild Peninsula

    grassy plains with streams; warm and dry climate

    • Broom: skin ailments
    • Centaury: digestive ailments
    • Clary/Wild Sage: eye ailments
    • Couch Grass/Twitch: kidney ailments
    • Eucalyptus: fevers, internal inflammation, inhalation therapies
    • *Fennel: colic/gastric ailments, tumours, eye ailments
    • Goldenrod: stops bleeding
    • *Honeysuckle: asthma and coughs, paralysis
    • Lavender: vomiting and faintness, calming inhalation therapy
    • Shepherd’s Purse: internal bleeding
    • Valerian: rub for paralysed and sore limbs
